Not a conspiracy theory, but I do wonder if they are deliberately going easy on Bobby. If the Beeb already have wind that he's the most popular in the competition (not sure but possible) and/or they want him to win, they need to create a winner's narrative, rather than him limping to the glitterball on some quite good dances.

Not a lot of favourable comments on the article, considering. It's interesting as well that both on here and DS, which are extremely different platforms, he hasn't got a lot of fans. I think it'll work against him if the media keep pushing him when there are a handful of better and more likable celebs to back.

I (not having a clue tbh) always thinks it looks like he sticks his bum out when dancing.
But it's never been said to him by the judges so I presume I am wrong.

Zara and Eddie (in no particular order 😉) will be the next two eliminated, I think.
Agree re the sticking out bottom as well as Zara and Eddie! The judges are often very inconsistent in what they choose to point out and when.

Of all those who are potential finalists, he is the one I would least like to win.
I usually put the kettle on or go away to pour a glass of wine during their performance.

Ugh, I hate “let’s hear it for” but not quite as much as “give it up for!”
Have to say I have not watched any of ITT this year and not missed it at all. Now I’ve said that of course, Fleur or Janette will ask an unexpected question or one of the couples will have an on screen meltdown🤣

I hope whatever way it goes for him, that the judges take it a bit easier on him. Especially Shirley. Craig also echoed what she said.

Calling some of what he did last week a 'disaster' - it is far too strong a word to be using in a lighthearted dance competition. I always get the impression Shirley doesn't like Karen, maybe that's why she was so harsh.

Give the guy feedback, absolutely, tell him how to improve - that's the job the judges have - but jeepers, don't be so harsh with words.
Shirley definitely doesn’t like Karen, which makes her giving them an unwarranted 10 even more baffling.

I don’t feel like disaster is too strong a word, especially when Shirley and Craig were openly laughing in Tony’s face last year. Shirley went massively over the top with what she said last week though - she could have been honest without labouring the point massively and then trying to justify it by saying she’s just being honest

I think it was harsh using the word 'disaster'.
But I dislike stuff like that anyway, like 'tragically - my nail broke' 😁. Not a tragedy!

I always feel sorry for someone when they finish a dance that they presumably have worked hard at, and thinking it went okay, getting hit with such a comment.

She and Craig went over the top using that word - in my opinion.
