I wonder if it is a cast outbreak of covid or flu, with him & Amanda both being unwell?

Has it ever happened that two people have missed the show on the same night? Handy that it’s early on when there’s still about ninety other couples in the show.

Hope no one else succumbs before tomorrow! 😬

edit: I can’t actually see anything to say Adam’s not dancing tomorrow though, just that he missed rehearsals due to being unwell.

Aww, bless Zara, you can see her improvement, probably won't be enough to save her from the dance off, but good for her.

Krishnan looks to have improved from his last ballroom dance as well.

Depending on how critical the judges decide to be, I think Eddie might be ok this week.

No swivel from Annabel in that clip, but not much to go on.

Looks to me like Nigel made a mistake there... 😬

Dianne's dress looking surprisingly nice. It actually looks like the sketch! Still a few hours left for them to do something to ruin it though lol

I was just making a shocked face at the memory of the cape!! I’ll have to reread it. I have kept the Mellor cape screenshot on my phone and it occasionally pops up in my For You pics to give me a laugh 😂

I just rewatched it, I'd genuinely forgotten how long he wrestled with the cape for! I like Nancy, but how did she think that was a good idea? 😂

She looked gorgeous in that routine though, the hairstyle really suited her.
 
So from this article, are we to assume Amanda isn’t dancing because of mental health reasons or maybe she wasn’t physically well and being a brave soldier by carrying on?

The art of interviewing is listening to the interviewees and NOT TO SHOUT over them.

Advice for both of them. Watch Rylan and his technique from previous years, even Claudia and Zoe. These two just drive me crazy, they get absolutely nothing out of the guests just a lot of inane clapping and the 'let's hear it for ....' accompanied by loud laughter which has become like a filler for them to waste time.

Ugh, I hate “let’s hear it for” but not quite as much as “give it up for!”
 
I really wouldn't be surprised of it was for mental health reasons. Strictly should be so joyful and I've not seen any of that from them. Every week on the Clauditorium Gio is physically manhandling her into place by him and there was the itt interview where she said he'd given her a wet willy to "keep her on her toes." And the icky let's choreograph a kiss in every routine. Maybe that's me reading a lot into their partnership, it's no secret I'm not a Gio fan. But I would hate to be on a show like Strictly and have the experience she and Richie have had.
 
If Amanda did post anything about mental health she's deleted it now. The Fail have a piece saying she looks 'exhausted' - though in another pic she looks fine. And presumably this was earlier in the week. It seems the show isn't going to address it anyway. I wonder if they did the dress run or not.

Whether or not they get on, there is definitely not the joy and excitement that lots of the other partnerships have: even Zara seems to love working with Graz, and Krishnan, Layton, Ellie, Angela S. all exude happiness in their partnerships..
