I loved her and Carlos! I think they'll be dark horses if they come up with good routines week on week. I'm slightly worried they'll miss out on votes if they're upper-mid table, just below the really memorable/favourite ones. No-one knows who she is and he's new.

Good first show but think the scores were too high for the first week as it doesn't leave 'space' to show improvement, I know it is because they want to be positive, give encouragement and confidence to the celebs. Saying that as long as the leaderboard is in the right order it doesn't real matter.

Finally caught up. I didn't know who Hamza was when he was announced and I wasn’t expecting him to be that good, but he was so adorable and that dance was so charming and I love his hair and he is so precious

My mum, bless her, watched the full thing, then turned to me with a look of outrage and said "They've given that Welsh lassie two partners! Him off Eastenders and the chap with the long hair!"

In her defence, Amy and Jowita bear a vague passing resemblance to each other when wearing ballgowns, I suppose.

I only know her because my daughter is at that tween stage of still watching CBBC but wanting to watch "the big girl stuff"
