Wardrobe spent all their time making sure Gorka's trousers fitted perfectly to his arse. So we could see every detail. And it was time well spent in my opinion.

It's a bit patronising the way he was filmed and introduced, wasn't it?When Richie was announced I thought him and Graziano seemed like the most obvious pairing as they have a similar vibe
I'm sure Richie is a nice bloke but their is something so infantile about him, not helped by the show treating him like an excitable child who's come to the studio for a day out

Graziano might have been better- I think Ritchie needs someone very peppy and who can match his energy, and Graziano can be very puppyish in his boundless good cheer.
And I know he's not very popular- but Neil could probably have worked a lot better with Ritchie than Gio too. Neil and Ritchie have a similar sort of vibe, that kind of slightly cheesy, slightly dated British type of presenting themselves on camera. A little bit Butlins-redcoat energy (and I mean that in the most loving and kindest possible way)
Same! I should watch with your husband! My husband was panic stricken “he’s gonna drop her. Oh my god he’ll drop her. HE’S GOING TO DROP HER!!!!!!!!”
It’s not like he was busy performing to millions on live tv or anything…Oh dear, AJ fans not happy that Kai didn't post during the first live Strictly to say how wonderful it was to be on The Hit List with her.
Personally I would rather watch people like Fleur, Ashley & Alexandra than Kaye, Ann Widdecombe and Susannah Constantine.I don't get why they put people like Fleur on. She will have had extensive choreography. Yes ballroom is different to dancing at The Summertime Capital Ball or whatever. But there is always an obvious difference with those who have been singers.. Alexander Burke, Ashley Roberts, etc...

Yes - if they marked appropriately and gave the bad ones 2s and 3s they would mark the good ones in week one 6s and 7s and everyone would be happy. I don’t think Motsi or Anton has ever touched a paddle below a 6, and Craig gets booed when he does so the audience demand the big scores and the OTT reactions.Surely nobody should be higher than a 6 in the first week?

I didnt know who this guy was until SCD
Graziano would have been better with RichieI don't think the problem is necessarily that Richie isn't good, but that their energies do not match. Richie is CAMP all the way through - Gio is.. definitely not. He just gives out strong hetero vibe! Even in their routine last night, you need a male pro who will match that. And it's not just a gay/straight thing: Aljaz definitely had the camp energy to make that routine work by throwing himself into it.
And I can defo do without the producers trying to make Richie's mum a 'character'!
I agree, Tony would work better with someone taller - I'd have liked to see him with Nadiya or Luba, and for Katya to get Will.
It’ll be interesting to see how the scoring pans out cos if they’re going to play fast and loose with the big paddles and not have the contestants doing one of two dances (say the waltz or cha cha cha) then maybe the judges scores shouldn’t roll onto the following week?Yes - if they marked appropriately and gave the bad ones 2s and 3s they would mark the good ones in week one 6s and 7s and everyone would be happy.
