She would be daft to to leave the show no matter who she's partnered with. It gives all year round work with Strictly, Strictly tour and then your own tour. Your name is kept in the press to keep you relevant and the show opens up other avenues like Katya doing Masterchef.

Or you can quit the show and disappear in to the wilderness. I can't think of one former Strictly professional who has quit the show and become an even bigger name.
 
Buzzing for Tony Adams being announced, have a bit of a soft spot for him and how he has dealt / deals with his past issues.... however can't see him being much good but I suppose we said the same about Dan the Man last year 🤷‍♀️

But for the love of God, please don't inflict Amy on the poor man lol no one deserves that!

Maybe anton was glad to sit out, but many (especially newer/younger) have a point to prove and want to win the trophy. Striving to win has been ingrained I'm them since they were young. Its still a competition and a very high profile one at that, no other dancing competition cam raise a dancers profile more. Even if they don't win, the longer they're in it the more they can build a fanbase.

I haven’t ‘forgotten’ that the pros are trained competitors. Sure, winning is great, and I’m sure they’d all love to win, but are many of them really going to walk away from £50k for a few weeks’ work just because they got paired with yet another retired sports person who likely won’t make it past week 5? What would the majority of the current pros have open to them that’s comparable in terms of income and exposure?

Actually I have heard of Ellie Simmonds to be fair. Kim Marsh was the one I had heard of ... nope had not heard of Will Mellor / Tony Adams or Matt Goss before announcements / googling. I don't watch much TV ... Strictly and the Apprentice is about the height of it!
