He seems fairly nice and normal on his instastories. I wonder how much English he actually speaks though - only speaking Italian on his stories. Wouldn't necessarily stop him getting a partner - Gio was parachuted into the show with barely a word of English - but would make it more challenging.

Do we think Karen will get a contender this year, if it’s her last?

I’m kind of torn cos I get it would be her last year blah blah blah but I don’t actually think she’s a good enough dancer to get a ringer 😬. Probably an unpopular opinion but I don’t really enjoy watching her - I think she’s just very meh and it’s so apparent that most of the other dancers are miles ahead of her. I also feel the same about Dianne.

in Strictly terms someone who has hidden dance training.
Or, in the case of female contestants, anyone who has ever had a dance lesson in their life, even if they stopped when they were 4.
 
Has anyone heard any whisperings about which celebs (yes the term is used very loosely) are taking part this year? I’ve heard Adam Thomas but I think that’s probably wishful thinking on his part.

I think of the rumours in the press so far, the most most plausible ones to me are Kym Marsh, Richie Anderson (from the one show and radio 2), and Adam Thomas (though I still don't really know what to make of his denials then that weird interview he did 😆)

And there was some speculation on DS about Jayde Adams as she's just cancelled her autumn tour for mysterious reasons
 
I'd love it if Owain Wyn Evans - that charming weather presenter with the gorgeous pastel suits who did the Comic Relief drumming thing- got to go on. He does seem prime Strictly material, doesn't he? And there would be a saving on wardrobe costs, I'm sure he could just wear his own suits to do ballroom in!
