I know I’m going to regret asking this but where did the cling film thing come from?

It was not coined by me alas, but it was back when an ITT clip came out about pranks and it turned out Neil was a total menace including messing about with Amy’s car and doing something dumb and annoying with cling film (I forget what).

Edit: I’ve searched and it was first used by @nicalibres

I love that you’ve never used his actual name since 🤣

It’s definitely not a name I would pick myself, but I think it’s quite sweet and it suits Stacey’s vibe.
I always think with these things, it’s nicer to give a name that can be shortened or it used as a nickname … then when the kid is older they can use the ‘official’ name if they’d rather. My friend and I had an Auntie Minnie … it’s going back a long time and was actually one of those honorary aunts that are no relation at all … who’s actual name was Amelia.

Not that she’ll probably ever need a corporate job cause Stacey probably has her set for life , but imagine a 46 year old lawyer, accountant, businesswoman, doctor (literally anyone you’re supposed to take seriously) called Minnie

I’m not sure KFG and Stacey would quite qualify her as a full blown nepo-baby, unless there are millions in documentaries and regional touring musicals, although they have done well.

My great-aunt was called Minnie ('short' for Mary). But she was ancient. Anyway good luck to them etc

the boyz! (and Neil)

Minnie isn't a modern name and was very popular in the 1880s. It means 'of the mind, or intellect.' There are quite a few Professor Minnie ... or Dr Minnie ... around if you take a look. I like Kevin as a dancer but he was also a high flyer academically so we might well see Dr/Prof Minnie Clifton/Dooley at some stage. And why not?
