Jings!!! Am I the only person who doesn't mind Jake Quickenden 😳😳😳

Me and the old dear saw him in Hair (was a very good production and the musical wasn't as dated as Cats) He came and sat on my mum's lap in the first half 🤣🤣🤣

At the end of show, the audience are allowed on the stage to join in with Aquarius. The guy who played Claude came down and helped my mum onto the stage and Jake came over and gave her a big hug. She loved it and tells everyone about it when we're in the Kings.

So yes, I would like my close personal friend Jake to turn up on Strictly 🤣🤣🤣

Last year he started speculation by just tweeting a dance emoji 🙄 Get ready for the constant tagging of the bbc, strictly, any judge, any pro dancer in his Instagram stories. He does it every year. He couldn’t cope with strictly. He can’t take any form of constructive criticism and he struggles working a couple of hours a day doing panto.

Ha ha. There seems to be a certain consternation that Rhys went to see Rose in her play, referred to her as 'my girl' and she posted him saying 'my heart'. She also dared to use the Frozen emoji that 'belongs' to her dance with Gio!

this would be an amazing plot twist and tbh I would ship those two together - Rhys is a sweetheart!

Yeah I don't think there is anything in this but the chaos would be hilarious.

Tony and Helen visiting Katya's panto was great. I know the 2021 cast gets mythologized a lot, but this year's is pretty great :)
 
My current guilty pleasure is enjoying the Rose and Gio shippers trying to deal with both the fact that he seems to be dating Jowita and also hasn't been to see Rose's West End debut. Giovanni going to see Anton's pantomime and posting about it on his Instagram (complete with paid partnership hashtag to promote his suits of course) does rather damage their belief that he absolutely has been to see Rose's play and just kept it off social media.

Those comments 🙈🙈 some people need to go outside and touch the grass!

As usual with these things, the women are cast in predictable roles- Jowita as the ‘scarlet woman’ and Rose as the poor, cuckolded soul, despite neither being true. It’s also ironic that both women these ladies are comparing are actually similar in age, both not long out of very long-term relationships and both at a point of serious career progression. Honestly, if I was Rose I would be tempted to go public with someone, even though it really isn’t her style, just to get them off my back. Rant over 😆
 
The Rio shippers most are old enough to know better. My favourite was when they contacted a journalist to ask whether Rose was referring to her ex or to Gio when discussing love at first sight. Spoiler - it was her ex.
Feel for Rose a bit as I think the shippers actually undermine her and what she wants to achieve. I think Strictly will end up being a blessing and a curse for her. What they can’t see is that their craziness is most likely the reason they don’t see any interaction between Rose and Gio because they read too much into it, which then the press pick up on and run with the story as they know it will get clicks. The shippers feed the papers.

Yes, Rose's role was to 'redeem' Gio (just like Ranvir and even Debbie before that). She is the pure girl-next-door, now cruelly betrayed.

Yeah there are definitely journos in those FB groups and possibly here too. *Waves*. Can we have some semi-scandalous Vito pics?

I am not Gio's biggest fan but most likely he has done nothing wrong here. The 'evidence' for their relationship is that she split with her bf and they have been affectionate all year. But Gio himself famously always says 'dancing is acting' and has been busily adding insta babes all year, implying that he and Rose are just pals, but pals who can't go for a drink together lest the Facebook Beryls melt down.

It's quite interesting seeing who they 'side' with now that the non-existent romance has finally 'ended'. Most of them seem to take their rage out on Giovanni, although I've seen some of them fantasising that Rose was the one who turned him down causing him to take to the arms of another. Not a one of them acknowledges there was never the slightest hint of real sexual energy between these two, who couldn't be more unalike!
