A few random thoughts while they're still in my head:

The social distancing between Karen and Jayde during the group dance šŸ‘€

I wonder why Hamza and Jowita chose an instrumental version for their showdance. Obviously it didn't make a difference on the night, but it would have been more wow with the vocals I think

I swear chunks of choreography from Molly's showdance was lifted from the inxs pro dance earlier in the series

Shirley's head piece thingy was an interesting choice

(Apologies if all these things have already been discussed at great length)

I was thinking the same thing. They fill up time and then rush the ending.
I'm delighted for Hamza and Jowita. Delighted!

If France win the World Cup tomorrow I donā€™t think anyone would expect Messi to stand there smiling and applauding them! Obviously thatā€™s on a completely different level of competition but itā€™s the same feelings at the heart of it.

Good analogy. I for one am praying that Leo lifts the World Cup.
 
I'll need to catch up on the final somehow, but I don't mind reading through the comments.

Let's just say that I would've been more surprised if Hamza didn't win, judging by his exponentially growing fanbase on the show. Personally, he was consistent and gave solid performances, but few of his dances wowed me. His personality was certainly an impetus for his victory.

Overall, I wouldn't have minded who won. I was just pleased that Will wasn't amongst the finalists šŸ˜„

Him and Gemma seem to be a a popular couple with a big following but like you, I find them arsey, especially her. She just seems a bit too big for her boots since doing Strictly herself.

Honestly I don't get the Gorka attraction. Like obviously he is a good looking, talented man but I am not seeing what the ladies (and gents!) of this thread are seeing šŸ˜­ šŸ˜­ I don't think I've ever found any of his routines mesmerising either. I've probably never rewatched one on youtube. His reaction tonight has made me proper go off him though:oops::oops:I don't think any of the male pros are doing choreography like your Katyas and Otis and even Jowita. I know he is disliked but Kevin Clifton was quite a loss to the male pro lineup.

Poor Jowita seemed to be mid-sentence when Tess cut her off! They never dedicate enough time to the winners/runners-up which is odd when the whole final is building to that. Itā€™s the same complaint every year and the next year is the same rushed ending.

Iā€™d much rather five extra minutes to chat to them all at the end instead of the pointless VT with members of the public.

If iā€™m honest it makes me even happier that they didnā€™t win if thatā€™s the case, gorkaā€™s reaction after hamza won wasnā€™t very professional in my eyes. i get being gutted but you donā€™t let it show the way he did. Iā€™m SO SO SO happy for hamza & jowita ā¤
