Ngl, gutted for Helen and Gorka. I don't blame him for looking disappointed at the end - it's the closest he's come to winning and they danced brilliantly this evening

It was a great final though. The only dance I really didn't like much was Molly's showdance, but she made up for it with her rumba

I'm soooo happy Hamza won! He wasn't the best on the night and it wasn't 100% today, but I think overall he deserved it and imo he was the best throughout the competition.

On Social Media, the trolls tend to be the loudest and what you tend to see is disproportionate to what most people actually think. Most people/his fans don't even bother to comment or engage.
And I think Hamza's popularity throughout the series is just immense. The man is crazy popular and loved by so many. His supporters voted for him and, at the end of the day, the winner is decided by who the public want to win the most.

I think all contestants were amazing and deserve love.

So pleased Hamza won. What a beautiful, humble, gracious man he is.

I do believe the best dancer on the night was Fleur, however, I don't think she won the public over as much as Hamza did.

Hamza has no dancing experience and was consistently good.

I always get whiplash at how quickly it ends! they announce the winner and then that's it! I want more! interviews, backstage stuff, hugging etc. I don't want it to be over!

I think that if you go into the final without ever being in the dance off, you probably deep down have a high expectation to win. Maybe Helen and Gorka felt like that.
After Fleur/Vito and Molly/Carlos being in so many dance offs, all they had to worry about was enjoying themselves in the final.

Well - putting aside the fact that I didn't take to Hamza (neither his dancing nor his personality), and was instead firmly team Helen - I do congratulate Jowita for finally being the first female pro to win her first series with a celeb. No mean feat for her and hopefully cements her as top pro status, which was badly needed post Oti.

What will her future be like? I hope to dear god that she doesn't get the Katya treatment as a former champion. And I felt that giving Kai an obvious first boot this year was a waste of talent after such a successful debut season with AJ so I don't want that for her either. I understand you can't get a good one every single year but I wouldn't be opposed to Jowita having another reasonable partner, especially if the shortest guy is good. They need to come back with a bang in 2023 after what was overall a bit of a dud year and part of that is utilising the best professionals with contenders.

Gorka being disappointed or even raging doesn’t make him a bad person come on now . I personally love that he’s not your typical Strictly cookie cutter robot.
