But he did score both the dance off dances the same … the dance off wasn’t, in theory, being judged on The 2 dances they didn’t do.
im pleased Fleur went though … but Anton wasn’t coming completely out of left field but them’s the decisions when you spend all night marking 10 dances with just 2 paddles.

I was imagining a fictional DO whereby Hamza performs his Salsa with one small error and Will performs a perfectly executed CC. Am I going to pick the dance that brought me joy and put a huge smile on my face or the dance that made me question whether life was worth living?

Are you meant to be stone cold objective? Maybe when judging the world championships. Or on an entertainment show, do you choose the dance that entertained you more?

Half the problem is the judges contradict themselves constantly.

I remember when I first started watching there used to be drama when it came to who the Judges were sending home - Bruce/Tess would be hurrying them up and they HAD to give a reason why they had picked that couple. Now Tess does ask them who they’re sending home and why but they don’t always say and I’m not convinced they always do focus on the dance off dance.

And I’m not sure the ‘head judge gets casting vote really works either - four Judges and if they tie at 2 apiece then maybe the least amount of votes should go?

Yeah, I am not at all questioning Anton's right to opt to save Will, incoherent as his original marking was. And maybe he did think that the slip meant Will should go through. Just the reaction to that, as if Anton pointing out a small mistake should be the last word on the matter.

A 9 from Anton is gonna feel like a 4 on Saturday!

You’re assuming Anton is going to go as low as 9 on Saturday :D
 
I don’t see Jaydes career benefiting from strictly especially after her behaviour on twitter. I really think she was never told no growing up and constantly had a stream of people in her life telling her how wonderful and amazing she is. Bet you anything they were telling her how the judges were just big meanies.

I think the ones benefiting the most will probably be Hamza/Tyler/Molly and maybe Ellie T. (Kym and Helen already have very steady work) I’m not sure about Fleur maybe she’ll get a bit more work out of this but there’s others who’ll get more from it.
 
Think Jayde has always gotten away with talking shite and never called up about it.

Bet Jayde is typing up her reply, umming and aahing which path to take to which will make her look good!

I honestly thought that Jayde would be part of the tour … I’m sure she was supposed to be the non-finalist fun-time celeb rather than the dance floor misery memoir.
