Exactly this. I hate the misogynistic narrative that’s been forced on Helen despite none of her actions or behaviours warranting or supporting it, but Jayde’s comment really didn’t come across as an advocation of Helen’s powerful achievements in life.

As with most of what she’s posted on social media post-Strictly, there was a pissy, snidey edge to it.

Jayde is just awful, she just seems so bitter and nasty and put zero effort in to strictly at all and expected to do well. I can’t stand entitled people.
I do get what she was saying about Helen to a degree in that she is a strong force of a woman who has done all these amazing things and it’s incredible. BUT none of those things mean she should automatically be a confident dancer?! So she has gained enormous confidence in that regard which is what the strictly viewers see.
So Jayde shut up and take your woman’s weekly with you.

Absolutely. I think she was hoping that people would bite so she could clap back and say “I didn’t mean it THAT way, I meant it THAT way”. Why is she saying anything at all?

If Helen had been on board with the narrative others have been relaying about her, it would have been beyond tedious. I wouldn’t say I’m a fan but she’s certainly cracked on and grabbed the opportunity with both hands. Maybe she had already signed up for Strictly and then contemplated pulling out when the story broke. The papers will write stuff in the hope that the new girlfriend reads it and gets in touch and tells them where they’ll be so they can be papped.
 
I’m gonna miss this cast! (Why are each of these people dressed for an entirely different event?).

Also nice to see Tyler, Tony and Ellie S on Ellie’s story. Can’t wait to see Gio’s joy at being reunited with Richie!

Has anyone ever been as bitter as Jayde about their elimination? The only bitter ones I recall are that Craig guy and Jan Ravens but their ire seemed more directed at the judges, I can't recall anyone snipping at the fellow contestants especially when the show is still on?
 
The media unfortunately gives male and female contestants different narratives, but I think Jayde's tweets are probably 10% about defending Helen (which ended up sounding a bit like she was dissing Helen or at least being dismissive of what Helen has said herself), and 90% about Jayde looking for something to blame for her only getting to week 4

Jayde, as I said on a previous post, my face goes like this ☹ when the contestants are all shown at the beginning of the programme. She seemed to expect to win by doing nothing except pushing a narrative about what a fan she was.

LOVE Fleurs megawatt beam! My muvver has decided she needs to hold a soiree on Saturday at 1pm. Don't know what my state of mind will be by the time the final starts darlings!

I think I'm in the same group. You aren't allowed to criticise Will in any way, yet the venom that's spewed for Hamza and Fleur...

From what I can remember Peeder Andre was full of snark for the other contestants.
I think he thought that all he had to do was show up, do a couple of sub par Michael Jackson impressions and the glitterball would be his. He spent half his time telling us how bloody fabulous he was and the other half humbly declaring that unlike all the other contestants he’d literally never moved in time to music before IN HIS WHOLE LIFE.
Unfortunately, not only was he pretty bloody awful he was in the same year as Jaysgloriousjive ( so bitched endlessly about Jay being a trained dancer and it wasn’t fair and he was telling his mum ).

I mean Tom Fletcher went back to the training room and trained for the dance he would have done next...although I'm not sure if that was bitter or just pathetic 🤣
