I only recognise one bucket-hatted icon! ( I think this was actually Will’s hat that Vito was messing around with in the dressing room and defiling)

I've just remembered something else that annoyed me last night. When Anton voted for Will and Nancy and they were both cheering and jumping around. I get that emotions are high if two judges vote against you and then you get an unexpected chance, but idk to me their behaviour seemed like bad sportsmanship. I don't even recall Fleur and Vito doing that when they actually got through. It's a shame cos I've always quite liked Nancy but I just can't get over how crappy her attitude was

agreed. i think too many pros give into the temptation to be like here is EVERYTHING you’ve learnt and do like a muddle of about ten different dance styles - the best ones have always been the ones with a clear theme or focus throughout tbh, or at least play to the dances that the contestant did well at.

i wasn’t a huge ore fan but his showdance was really wonderful. i also enjoyed maisie and gorka’s, and tom chambers managed to get a whole new career out of his 🤣

I thought people were exaggerating about Karim at first, but I was like 'wow, ok, he really is a bit ridiculous' when I saw this clip.



The cameraman's still standing in front of them on the stairs at 3:26, and he's already tackling Aljaz at 3:34 😂 lmao, why is he practically diving off the balcony to pounce on a man he met 7 weeks ago? Was he not held enough as a baby or something? 😂 😂 😂

ETA: Also what was that pat on the butt about, Emma? 👀 Didn't really look accidental to me... :censored:

i went on a rewatch of winners announcements a while back and i’m sure he flies in like a torpedo to immediately hug kelvin too. like, let him and oti enjoy the moment karim 🤣

that comment about still expecting him to run out of the audience to join the huddle is so accurate!

I just watched it back. When Anton votes for Will & Nancy, Nancy puts her hands to her face and says “thank you so much” quite loudly to Anton, turns around and hugs Will. Will mumbles “thank you” under his breath and gives a couple of small nods and then kisses Nancy on the head

They weren’t both jumping around and cheering

Next year I hope that Shirley goes to judge DWTS in America, Craig stays and is how he always is, Motsi stays and is like she was this year (with less extreme scores) and Anton stays and is more like he was last year in terms of critique, he stops talking about his previous dance partners and drops the giddiness over an NTA award

BIB - I agree. From what I remember, both of them being fairly subdued.
 
Now Mardy is out, out of the final 4 I don’t mind who wins. I kind of like that I don’t think there is a clear winner but is probably between Hamza and Helen. Other than bacofoil most show dances/freestyle aren’t that memorable. Caroline Flacks is now memorable.

I can’t quite understand why some of the public get so upset over a dance off - Strictly is a light entertainment show that adds a bit of sparkle over the autumn in lead upto Christmas.

Agree with Gio attractive on the dance floor, but get the ick off it. I get him liking photos of pretty Insta models he’s a guy in his early 30s, he likes pretty girls but when he start to like photos of 18 year model - give me the ick. Even if you go by the Rio shippers and it’s for PR etc, 18 just feels a tad young for him, over 20 fine. Every now and again I will get one of his intsta models appear on my suggested - they always look out of place with my other suggestions.

But I think I actually would prefer it to be 'audience votes for who to save from the judge's bottom 2' than the way it is.

Yes maybe the top two saved could be a good idea.

Less celebrities is a good shout, I honestly thought I was going to expire before we got through the first 3/4 episodes.

I prefer the training videos, they were funny (sometimes unintentionally). I’d prefer that than watching a clip of Molly taking Carlos out for drinks with her pals (I can see why they do it but training vids would be my preference over those)

I must have dreamt it! Still don't like the pair of them

Another random thought: does anyone else think that if Fleur had been the one to perform Will's CC choreography, she would have been absolutely slated for it by the same boomers who are mad that Will got voted out?
