Alesha Dixon won Strictly, but she never did the tour.
I’m not sure if this is in response to my post because you haven’t quoted it but Alesha Dixon won series 5 and when they started the live tour, the first few were a mix of contestants from the early years so there’s possibly more winners than her who didn’t do the tour. According to the Wiki.Alesha Dixon won Strictly, but she never did the tour.
Please god no not bloody aj, I had enough of her last yearI’ve mentioned before my theory that if you’re not doing the tour, you won’t win. The Tour has a Wiki page and going by that, the tour started in 2008 and until 2011 they had a mix of contestants from the previous series’ but since then, all the tours have included the winner:
2012 was people from series 9 including the winner Harry Judd.
2013 was people from series 10 including the winner Louis Smith.
2014 was people from series 11 including the winner Abbey Clancey.
2015 was people from series 12 including the winner Caroline Flack who danced with Tristan rather than Pasha.
2016 was from series 13 including the winner Jay McGuiness.
2017 was from series 14 including the winner Ore Oduba.
2018 was from series 15 including the winner Joe McFadden.
2019 was from series 16 including the winner Stacey Dooley who danced with Aljaz rather than Kevin.
2020 was from series 17 including the winner Kelvin Fletcher who danced with Janette rather than Oti.
2021 - no tour due to COVID
2022 was from series 19 including the winner Rose Ayling Ellis.
So I’m still thinking that as things stand, the winner will be Molly, Hamza or Will. I just can’t see them wanting a tour where the series champion isn’t involved. But there seems to be 7 couples at most of the tours and I’m sure that’ll be Fleur and Helen they’re going to announce rather than say Kaye and James (no disrespect to them, I just think they would have been announced by now if it was anyone other than Helen and Fleur). Unless of course it’s AJ and Kai…
Ah I see! My bad then! Sorry.I’m not sure if this is in response to my post because you haven’t quoted it but Alesha Dixon won series 5 and when they started the live tour, the first few were a mix of contestants from the early years so there’s possibly more winners than her who didn’t do the tour. It’s just a theory I have based on the fact that for the last 10/11 years all the winners were people who could do the tour and I don’t think the producers/BBC are above manipulating situations to get what they think is best. I imagine it would be more lucrative to have the series winner on the tour than without. But now I’ve said that, Helen won’t do the tour but will still win!
No need to apologise. I can be too suspicious for my own goodAh I see! My bad then! Sorry.
While it is good to have the winner on the tour I don't think its the be all and end all if they don't come.
The tickets for the tour sell even before there is a line up announced; the brand is strictly not the winner of the tour so it will always sell regardless. Besides on tour they do the whole ''vote for your favourite'' and one of the couples wins the show and its not always necessarily the couple who won the actual television show.
I doubt that AJ is doing it.I would do anything for them to not bring Aj back for it
AJ wouldn’t possibly have the time. She’s a booked and busy global superstar who’s transcended strictly. She’s going to be on The Weakest Link and The Wheel, didn’t you know?I would do anything for them to not bring Aj back for it
Ahhhh, don’t think he’s done it this year eitherI'm pretty sure a few of them skip it every year? I remember Giovanni definitely didn't do it last year.
Gorka might not be doing the tour because his own tour starts in February. That means either Helen won't do the tour or she will have another pro.
Neil will be limbering up already, getting his corset looked out for couple’s choiceWould she do it with somebody else? I'm sure Neil would happily step in
Johannes? Kai? or too tall? (oh, is Kai's 'Everlasting Love With a Shameless Hussy I've Known Two Minutes' at the same time as the SCD tour?)Would she do it with somebody else? I'm sure Neil would happily step in
Aww, Molly and Hamza dancing together!

This Molly doesn't come across so much on the main show. I feel like I don't really know her. She's very "on" and professional, probably from her stage school training, which can be necessary for auditions etc but Strictly is freer and about connecting with them as a person not just their talent. It could also be down to being in so many dance offs though too. I'm sure she'll be asked to audition for some musicals after this though. Craig probably has his eye on her (no that's not linking her to Craig now too.)
Yeah, I don't follow her but when I've seen a few of her posts she can be quite fun. This was funny the other day (bonus Vito at the end inevitably improvising the lyrics..)This Molly doesn't come across so much on the main show. I feel like I don't really know her. If Helen is willing to do the tour I suspect her agent is probably playing a little more hardball with the Strictly tour guys regarding the fee after that Caberet dance at the weekend, hence the delay.Gorka might not be doing the tour because his own tour starts in February. That means either Helen won't do the tour or she will have another pro.
