Honestly the man is some kind of lyrical genius. I actually snort laughed watching this .

Do you guys think that Fleur and Molly are sharing the same voters? DS seem to think so.
Yeah potentially. I feel like they’re the type of contestant who have to really nail a dance to avoid the bottom 2, so I think a lot of the viewers who vote purely based on the dancing would be more likely to vote for them. There might also be an element of sympathy and people wanting them to avoid 2 dance offs in a row hence why they seem to be alternating each week.

I might actually vote for the first time on Sunday cos I really don’t want to see Molly in the bottom 2.

I have been splitting my votes between them and Kym) for the past few weeks.
But have you been voting for them based on where they are on leaderboard? Like if Molly is high up, do you vote for Fleur instead? Or did you vote for them each week regardless?

That is possible.

Personally, I have never voted for Molly. I kinda don't see the point it in voting for more than one couple at this stage.

I think that there has been occasions where the winner or finalists haven't done the tour.
Alesha never did the Tour, I seem to think.

I do, yes.

I said right from the start that they had been cast to fill the same spot (young, singer potential ringer, enough talent to give good dances early doors). They double cast a lot of slots this year (James/Will for relatable dad, Tony/Matt for trier with fan base, Ellie T/Jayde comedian, Kym/Helen nervous mums getting their groove back) and sat back and saw who won which battle.

I wonder if the sympathy bounces will continue, which would mean that it's Molly's 'turn' to be saved, or if the fact that it's for a place in the final means that people will just vote on which routine they prefer etc. I think Molly has probably the better combo - Charlestons have not done well this year and Fleur's could be messy, but it might just be a Battle of the Pasos in the Dance Off

Am I missing why that's a bad thing? Learning a new skill is brilliant.

There's nothing wrong with learning a new skill but I dont see her making it a full time career if thats what she's after. If its just to do it as a fun hobby than have at it.

It doesn't come across like she's intending to be the next big thing. She's very realistic about it in her reel - she says she's passionate about it, absolutely loves learning but at the moment she's just enjoying the process. If she was intending to make a career of it, she's going about it the right way by attending classes and getting coaching.

I don't think anyone expects anyone to say they are becoming the next Kate Winslet; that would be completely delusional.

I just have my own personal opinion I cant see someone at this stage of life, already well known for something else have a successful full time career in acting here in the UK. I don't think thats being harsh; I just think thats just being realistic. I would say the say the same thing about any of the pros. If it's just to have some fun and not relying on it to become your full time career then go for it.

From what she's said, I really don't think she's expecting much from it, tbh. I agree with you that it would be unlikely to happen for her as a full time career (though not impossible when 2:22 A Ghost Story will cast everyone and anyone, probably Bev from up the road next 😅)

I think she's bound to feel a bit dejected and disillusioned by Strictly so the lessons have probably given her a bit of oomph.

Acting on screen might be a longshot because it's so competitive, but if they have a half decent singing voice, then adding acting to your skills could help a pro if they want to audition for musicals (like the Cliftons etc)

AJ's stint on Hollyoaks is also a good argument for investing in acting lessons

I think theatre is more easier to get into than television or film unless you're making a cameo.

If any of the dancers can sing then I would say musical theatre is the best way to get into acting.

It would be harder for Luba I would say not being British.

I’ve mentioned before my theory that if you’re not doing the tour, you won’t win. The Tour has a Wiki page and going by that, the tour started in 2008 and until 2011 they had a mix of contestants from the previous series’ but since then, all the tours have included the winner:

2012 was people from series 9 including the winner Harry Judd.

2013 was people from series 10 including the winner Louis Smith.

2014 was people from series 11 including the winner Abbey Clancey.

2015 was people from series 12 including the winner Caroline Flack who danced with Tristan rather than Pasha.

2016 was from series 13 including the winner Jay McGuiness.

2017 was from series 14 including the winner Ore Oduba.

2018 was from series 15 including the winner Joe McFadden.

2019 was from series 16 including the winner Stacey Dooley who danced with Aljaz rather than Kevin.

2020 was from series 17 including the winner Kelvin Fletcher who danced with Janette rather than Oti.

2021 - no tour due to COVID

2022 was from series 19 including the winner Rose Ayling Ellis.

So I’m still thinking that as things stand, the winner will be Molly, Hamza or Will. I just can’t see them wanting a tour where the series champion isn’t involved. But there seems to be 7 couples at most of the tours and I’m sure that’ll be Fleur and Helen they’re going to announce rather than say Kaye and James (no disrespect to them, I just think they would have been announced by now if it was anyone other than Helen and Fleur). Unless of course it’s AJ and Kai…
