When is Chris Ramsay not absolutely buzzing though? When he did Strictly I didn't know him, and thought he was overplaying his "jolly, family friendly" persona a little.

Having now watched 10 hours of him on Taskmaster, being 110% delighted to have to do dozens of absurd tasks like sculpt a model of the solar system out of butter, or create a childrens' party game out of a sausage and cement mixer I can confirm he's just perpetually overjoyed by life in general. Like a puppy that's been given some sherbet fizz and a squeaky ball. It's astonishing, all the more so for the way he didn't crack or grumble under Greg Davies trying to break his happy spirit.

I haven't seen the 2019 series, just the dances on youtube, and within about 1 minute of watching him on Taskmaster, I was like, ah, I see how he got so far on Strictly despite not being a very good dancer. Him being the only one to remain cheerful while everyone else was plotting Alex's murder during the shoe task was hilarious. 😂
 
There was some kind of Strictly party last night. On Gio’s stories Johannes’ outfit is absolutely stunning. So glad he’s living his best life!

i truly think he’s the most fun karen has ever had on this show - not the best dancer but he enjoyed every second of it. just a shame that he ended up with a samba and rumba combo in the semi (i think) finals!

i genuinely really enjoyed and still rewatch his paso.

I’ll see your Jack and Diane and raise you The JCB Song…Someone mentioned a JCB on one of the other threads I’m on and since yesterday I’ve had “I’m Luke I’m 5 and my dad’s Bruce Lee, he drives me round in his JCB” going round and round and round in my head ever since 😩

Just seen a trailer for Lorraine - Fleur is on after 9am

He’s one of my all-time favourite contestants, and he was the first time I found Karen tolerable as a pro.
If Will Bayley hadn’t had to withdraw due to injury, Chris could well have been in the final ☹️

I presume/hope Fleur will be doing it, unless her radio station won't let her off. But someone said Tyler's station is owned by the same company and they've released him...

I’d imagine Helen is the other one? Wonder if she’s still deciding.

Gemma Atkinson works for Hits as well and she did the tour. Hits Radio have been very supportive of Fleur's Strictly journey.

I think that people might be right that the Strictly tour organisers are waiting on Helen.

The finalists have all always done it haven’t they? So if she gets through (which I have no doubt she will) she’ll probably feel/will be obligated to do it
 
It’s a fair amount of money for the celebs for the tour so might be worth Helen managing the childcare with her parents for it, but she understandably may not want to.

ETA- what a glow up for Jowita, going from backing dancer to celeb partner, probably a finalist and maybe a winner. Chuffed for her, she really deserves it.
