Think its a shame Kym went. Shes really grown on me - i couldnt abide her before strictly 🤣🤣🤣

But honestly i reckon Hamza, Helen and probably Will are certain finalists. Which leaves Fleur and Molly fighitng for the last place.

i would prefer Molly to go through cos im not keen on the Beyonce tribute act of Fleur

Next week will be really interesting!!!

I think this is as far as Kym wanted to go and I imagine she's not gutted to go out now. We had some good dances from her and I maintain, she'd have done a better Mein Herr.
God, she would have been sensational. I rewatched Helen's on youtube as there has been so much gushing online. It's very good but to me it's too vaudeville-y. Kym would have channelled that full Sally Bowles drunken messy chaos!

He’s in danger of becoming the next Neil, having a sequinned mid life crisis , playing up for the camera and showing he’s just as sexy as all the new younger pro’s

It honestly feels like that. Anybody who constantly needs to prove themselves as sekshuall reeks of last man to be picked in the pub.

Can we also unappreciate how if a fematle pro appealed to win votes the way Gorka does, waggling her tits and arse, she'd receive a multitude of abuse.

Sorry but I will not have Gorka’s name besmirched by comparing him to cling film pervert Neil.

Watching Helen’s dance tonight actually made me feel a bit tearful. Having found myself in a not dissimilar situation to her after many years of what I thought was a happy marriage and with a small child, so to see her go out there and essentially shout ‘f*ck you and f*ck your midlife crisis ho’ felt quite emotional.
To be a wife & mother and to be tossed aside like that makes you feel about as sexy as a sofa with broken springs and cat pee on it- so to go out and perform a routine like that takes some grit & courage and I salute her. And feel oddly proud and defensive of her, particularly when people say she doesn’t look comfortable. I would imagine her self esteem, like mine, is non existent so no she probably doesn’t look at ease.
I hope it has been cathartic for her.

Saying all this, I still voted for Fleur & Hamza because my 5 yr old is the boss. But my battered-sofa internal self gave all 3 to Helen for tonight. 💕💕

I am delighted that she was able to return after covid, and she can certainly leave with her head held high. I thought she was great tonight, the parts with the other dancers, honestly, it looked so natural to her. I love Graz and I think their partnership was perfect. She took a lot of criticism initially about seeming not to want to be there, but she definitely overcame all of that. I think the judges were harsh at times with their scores, even tonight, I thought she deserved higher marks. But as I said, she can leave with her head held high. She gave it all she had, well done to her.

Used YouTube to catch up as much I chose the football again (even if I did pick the wrong match out of the two😂)

Helen was definitely the best tonight and I really loved the routine. Fleur/Kym/Molly were all great dances performed well but just didn’t win me over as much as Helen. Will was a tad boring and unremarkable (not his fault as such foxtrots can be bit unremarkable especially on big theme weeks) he danced nicely and to a good standard but I’m not rushing to rewatch. Can’t make my mind up about Hamza tonight… whilst it was good for a male samba in terms of dance ability something just didn’t work. It’s the sort of theming that could’ve landed other less favoured and well liked celebs in the dance off. Then again I’ve not really been wowed by many of his dances so 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I think Jake Leigh was probably the best bit of tonight.. he was absolutely loving life!!

The dance off result was right despite having a good performance tonight. Such a shame Molly ended up there again
Jake just has that something that draws you to him when he dances. I'd love him to be a pro but obviously I get why he can't.

To be fair from what i’ve seen of him on the show and as part of tours over the years, he’s no worse at ballroom than some of the pros 🤣

who from here posted that 😅

I gotta hold my hand up. 🤣

However, I posted it mainly to shitstir, and see JUST what people would post 😝👹

(Although I stand by it!)

For the first time, didn't really enjoy any of them this week. Don't know how much the day less rehearsal/prep time had to do with it, but my overwhelming reaction is meh. The backing dancers were especially dire. Most just pointless and in the way, even worse than Blackpool.

Will - I can't be the only one who thinks his posture isn't right??? How the duck did he get 10s? Top of the leaderboard??? Are the judges on crack?

Helen - Hoped it would be better than it was. It wasn't bad, but I didn't really like most of the choreography, and she really can't sell the performance very well. Her attempts at being sexy were just painful. It sucks about her husband but I'm starting to get annoyed she's still here. She's only had 1, maybe 2 dances where Gorka's arse wasn't the only thing stopping me from falling asleep.

Molly - I really hoped it would be better. The choreography was a mess, IMO, and a huge mistake to have her start alongside Lauren. What idiot came up with that? I was really hoping it would be a 'wow' moment and a perfect score. I get the feeling the repeated dance offs have dented her confidence. :(

Hamza - Weird song, even weirder costumes, which distracted from the dance, and probably hampered his movement somewhat. Still thought the dance itself was pretty good, though sadly not as good as I was hoping. Probably largely due to the stupid costumes.

Kym - Probably the best of the night for me, shame she's got basically no chance.

Fleur - Ugh at all the faffing. duck off useless backing dancers. It was probably fine but I still didn't really like it and I've already forgotten it.

I'd have just about reversed the leaderboard, switched Kym and Hamza with Will and Helen. Don't know what the judges were seeing. Found pretty much everything at least a bit disappointing, except Kym who was a bit better than I thought she might be, seeing as I didn't like her Samba. At least they have an extra day for the two dances next week.

Just about every costume wanted incinerating too.

Kym has surprised me the most this year and I think she’s pretty genuine - at the beginning it looked like she hated it and I thought she was holding back from letting herself get involved in friendships. But I think out of everyone she’s going to accept it’s her time to go, be thankful she didn’t have to withdraw and have good memories (and a friend for life 😬)

Now I’ve said that, she’ll be inconsolable and have to be prised away from Anton’s desk, wailing.

I’m sad we didn’t get to see her Couple’s Choice! That’s us at the semi-finals and heading for a ‘no barefoot dancing’ record!

Will might be getting support because of his pre Strictly popularity.
I can’t stress enough how disappointed I am in him! I always thought he was just a stand up, what you see is what you get kinda guy but maybe that was just the characters I’ve seen him play.

It was interesting Shirley picked up on his competitiveness on ITT (and she maybe mentioned it in his feedback?) They’re all competitive but I think he’d be the one to put itching powder in Hamza’s outfit.

If he doesn’t win then we are definitely being robbed by not having a post-final ITT 😂

But apart from that it was great, right??! :D As somebody else said (@Fillyjonk) I think, Kym would have really sold that CC in a different way. Shame. Also rewatching Molly, she had a weird facial expression throughout, what was that?

I see DS are having their usual normal one - apparently Fleur was 'aggressive' and 'manly', even when dressed in 1950s dress with a victory roll! I see you.

BIB - That's if Helen didn't get to Hamza first with the itching powder.
She hides her competitiveness better than Will does but it's there, big time imo.
Nothing wrong with that of course, it's a competition after all. 😁

I agree it was interesting that Shirley mentioned it to Will. And OMG that would be an epic ITT 🤣
