I've seen the Proclaimers - Sunshine on Leith played live ❤❤❤- they were great!

I was convinced Molly’s cha cha was a Charleston and if you put Helen and Will’s Charleston’s beside each other they’re like two completely different dances.

Definitely. I don’t think i’ve ever watched two celebs dance the same dance on the same night and let it impact my voting in the slightest.

Also saw The Proclaimers recently. Brilliant value for money with the amount of songs they sing! One of my favourite live bands x

Well they aren't ones for small talk ! They literally just played song after song ..which i don't mind 😁

Argentine Tango to that sounds grand, but I have the fear that a Waltz to a Celine Dion song (Only One Road) might have me falling asleep, good lord, that's a bit of a snoozefest.

Argentine Tango and a Waltz is a decent pair of dances though, especially as Helen is clearly so uncomfortable in the party Latin. One dark and moody, the other dreamy and romantic, I'm sure she'll do well.

I can't see Paul ever doing Strictly, but am now a little sad there's never been a waltz to "Song for Whoever" or "A Little Time". The lyrics are so very expressive (Promises, promises turn to dust...Wedding bells just turn to rust), I'm sure an actor could have the time of their life emoting all over the stage in a cynical, dark hued waltz about the perils of cheating.

I think they were coming to where I am during very early lockdown but I’ll definitely keep an eye out for them coming back. I had the Carry on up the Charts CD and used to play it all the time. The Housemartins (with a very young Fatboy Slim too of course) were a bit before my time but Paul Heaton for me is like Paul Weller - different genres, different personnel but they all work.

Great song, but I'm not sure an AT will work that well to Here Comes The Rain Again. Would have been better suited to a tango.

Squeeze I saw recently, and there was no small talk with them, but it means more songs which I love. Some of their songs would be great to hear too, but most of them are complete stories so might not work as well cut down
