I would love Hamza to win, that would be my preference. However if Fleur or Helen win I wouldn’t mind at all (sorry a slight preference for a Fleur win really). I don’t want Will to win, my sister who liked him in the beginning has since gone right off him. I appreciate it may be the way she has been portrayed, but I find Molly to be a little too sweet, but she hasn’t deserved to be in all the dance offs.
Can I throw out a name for 2023? Paul Heaton! I don’t think he’d do it, but he had some moves when I saw him live at the weekend
 
I really want Vito to win but if him & Fleur don’t do it I’m happy for anyone else to win……….EXCEPT WILL! 😡 I’ve never rated him as an actor or heartthrob & you just know his AT will have his “smelt a fart” face. I imagine if it’s a “wow” it’ll be because Nancy will out dance him & make it look amazing.

I’d love to see Vito do a Charleston, his personality would really shine through, he’s so cheeky! 🥰
 
I feel like if Helen has AT and Waltz, which seems very likely, then those dances being Rose’s semi final dances could be a good omen or a bad thing if she faces unfavourable comparison.

I know I’m a #fan but I still maintain she should have got two 40s for her SF dances, but I also maintain it’s a crime AJ & Kai didn’t get a 40 for their Charleston and only got their first one for their SF quickstep.

Someone on DS apparently has it on good authority that Fleur and Vito are doing the Charleston on Sunday.
 
I am torn between Helen and Hamza now: both have good stories: shy, larger Black man comes out of his shell/wronged woman gets her groove back. Hamza seems to have stalled in recent weeks (I didn't much like the samba or the AT and the Blackpool dance was good but lacking oomph). Helen has had two great dances that could/should have had 40s (QS and CC) but in-between a quite dodgy samba, and her Latin is a bit painful.
Even with the pros I'm torn - Gorka 'deserves' the win, has been consistently good for years and is being really supportive to Helen. But Jowita has made a real impact, is lovely, and has probably had a rotten year with breaking up with her long-term partner.

In short, a tie, and Bloody Will will probably sneak it with his 'We call it acieeed' CC!
 
I just saw an article where Fleur says that she is finding out today which dances she is doing on Sunday. Therefore, I am no longer sure that she is doing the Charleston and Paso Doble on Sunday. How would anyone outside of Strictly know before the lady herself which dances she is doing?

Well the pros know before, and obviously the producers who assign them, so it feasibly could get leaked by someone before she knows.

I honestly don’t think the general viewing public will remember that Rose did the same dances at the same stage last year, or remember enough about Rose’s waltz/AT to draw a comparison.

I’m a fairly avid viewer and I couldn’t tell you a thing about either of those dances by Rose. I think I can vaguely picture her AT, but beyond that I’ve not got a clue 🤷‍♀️

Yes to Paul Heaton!!!! And if he doesn’t want to dance, maybe he could come and take over as a singer

I thin Gorka was always in Gio and Aljiaz’ shadows a bit and with Gio out early and Aljaz gone was trying to get his moment. I think he’s always sort of shied in to the background. I don’t know but I hope he stops it.
He deserves the win, I hope he gets it.
 
I hadn’t really thought of Hamza being plus sized before, he’s lost a fair amount of weight, thankfully none of his personality. It’s been lovely to see Helen blossom more, and Fleur and Vito are so sunny. Yes I know

At this point Igenuinely don’t mind who wins. As long as it’s not Will.
