Karim & Amy done jive again in the final which had extra dancers, but they weren’t a huge part of the choreo so things could be easily modified. I can see the same happening with Helen’s quickstep as they weren’t as involved as they were for her cc, i’m struggling to see how they would be able to redo it without the other dancers? I would much rather see her quickstep again anyway.

Caroline and Pasha did the Instanbul Charleston in the final and bits had to be reworked and it did take away from it.

Yeah it’s quite a dangerous game as you don’t know whether it’s going to work as well without them. For me I would like to see Helen’s jive or quickstep again and I think she would pick one of those as her favourite, same with Hamza’s salsa and probably Fleur’s samba? No idea about the rest of them and also no idea what the judges picks would be 🤣

Sadly Jake isn’t ballroom/Latin trained otherwise I think he would’ve been years ago, I think his background is music videos/commercial tours but he’s amazing.

He’s normally on the celebs tour as dance captain and is great to watch as well as seeming to get on with everyone really well.

Ahhh I didn't realise that's a shame! He's definitely a big personality so would be fab! Will just have to stick to watching him in themed weeks!
 
My thoughts on Fleur , she’s a great dancer ( the best one left imo) seems like a fab lady. I think she’s not getting the votes because much of her career has been reality based. People tire of reality stars, me included. Molly hasn’t connected with the audience as well as she could have, I think her youth doesn’t help. Correct me by all means but the majority of voters are older and prefer a ‘ journey’ and Molly, as sweet as she is, is a bit dull. That’s where Helen hits the mark for many, she’s got much better and has a story to tell, one that many can relate to. She’s really going for it and people are rooting for her. Thats my take on it.

Hamza - I think will definitely do his salsa again...but it might not have the same "wow" surprise element, I could be wrong though! And personally I'd like to see his Foxtrot again

Helen - maybe Jive and Quickstep? I did enjoy her Foxtrot aswell though...

Molly - Deffo her Rumba, but not sure which her other one, her quickstep was amazing and weirdly I'd like to see her try the jive again, without all the extra dancers, but that might be too risky for the final...

Fleur - 1000% need to see that AT again!!! 🔥 and I'd like to see probably a ballroom rather than one of the party Latin ones, I can't see her doing the CC again, but who knows ...

Will - I actually couldn't care less as his dances are the dedicated loo breaks so I won't see them anyway...

Kym - I'm genuinely not sure, none of her dances have really wowed me!

1. I still don't actually know who they are, what they have done previously. I think that's an underestimated problem for some younger contestants (I don't really pay any attention to the VTs). I know I won't be the only one and I'm only 38.
2. They are both with new pros, so people aren't voting to keep the pro in as much. Certainly, if I don't warm to a contestant, then I look at which pros I like the most. Would Ellie T have lasted as long without JoJo's popularity?

Both your points apply to Hamza though! so it's clearly not about that (and I am voting a straight Vito ticket all the way :D) .. We do know that women get judged harshly for things we let men off the hook about - if a female contestant had been as mardy as Will and gone round saying 'I'm so emotional me!' all the time she'd have been crucified.

On another note, at least the remaining contestants now have TWO extra days before the semi-final (on Sunday!). The pros might even be able to take today off!
 
I’m reading on DS that apparently the couple who choreograph the AT’s are heading to the US and therefore won’t be around for the semi final. I wonder if this means we won’t have any AT’s? I would like to have seen one from Helen so will be a shame if she has to skip it, unless they get other choreographer’s in to help.

Just catching up ...what on earth has happened to Gorka ? He's gone from being a bit of a cheeky chappie to acting like a loon. What was that bending over in front of Craig all about? I think the final is Helens to lose but if he carries on acting weird it's going to turn people off voting for them. He gave me the ick last night tbh!

100% agree Molly and Fleur are better dancers than Helen. I really like Molly I think she’s adorable and I really wanted her to get 40 this week but her dance wasn’t amazing.
I cannot warm to Fleur, I didn’t in the X factor or the jungle I don’t know what it is. Fleur is an amazing dancer and should be top of the leader board most weeks apart from the couples choice I think. The reason I can’t warm to Fleur is absolutely nothing to do with anything bar her personality, I was the same with Stacey Dooley and many others.

They’ve used several different AT choreographers in the past so I don’t see a problem with that.

I think Vincent has even choreographed the occasional one, and I’m sure he could spare a few hours for a nice fee.
