I think people under estimate the Blue Peter effect as well … Gethin/Matt/Helen were all on around the same time … and probably had a bit of crossover? And they’ve all done well. Add in a bit of Countryfile and that’s lot of Strictly basis covered.I don’t think that’s necessarily an unpopular opinion.
Helen seems like a really nice woman, she appears to be enjoying herself and has done a couple of pretty decent dances, but I think I’ve said before that having an absolute shitgibbon for a husband isn’t a reason to win in and of itself.
She’s not playing the sympathy card herself, but I’m sure that’s why some people are voting for her.
However, I do think you may have underestimated the number of people voting for Gorka’s bum.
I’d be surprised if they allowed her to ditch the CC (Idon’t think anyone has got to the final not having done a CC, I know John did his late last year) but it is cutting it fine for her and Will, but it will be interesting to see what story they hang it on.She is every bit as ambitious to win it as Will. Actually an old clip of Strictly was on an old episode of Gogglebox recently and one of the goggleboxers said to the other something along the lines of 'I'm so glad there are no sad stories on Strictly like there are on X Factor. Strictly is so feel good.'

I can see him asking to do a CC to a rap he’s written. He’ll say he’s just thrown it together but actually he’s been working on it for years. He’ll also insist on doing the choreography because no offence Nancy but you don’t have kids, so…and it’ll look like an SM:TV skit for which he shall receive a 40I had forgotten that we had CC's yet to come.
