Seeing a few people voice dislike of Dianne so for the sake of balance I just want to chip in and say I really like her. I think she seems lovely and down to earth, I liked her even more after watching Freeze the Fear as she came across really well
I don’t think there is anything really dislikeable about Dianne but she has a bonkers army of followers and appreciaters which is just so weird.

It'll get to the point where Shirley, Motsi aind Anton are giving every man and his dog a 10 from week 2 for just showing up. I get that they think scoring 10 drives ratings by getting viewers excited, but that really isn't the case. You get #RingerWars, #FavouritismWars, #OvermarkedWars, #PCGornMadWars etc
But all those #wars does drive up traffic to websites, and probably the programme, so producers love them. But I agree, the overuse of 10's just completely devalues them. It's the old saying ' If everyone is brilliant, no one is!'.

Question for those who are more knowledgeable than me: Is the charleston ever danced in professional competitions? I know they're choreographed by specialists on the show but will the pros have ever even danced one before?

No its not.

Its counted as a speciality dance that isn't danced in ballroom/latin competitions. This also includes the Argentine Tango and the Salsa, thats why these dances get outside choreographers.

I forgot to ask did anyone see Hamza and Jowita on Loose Women yesterday? He said that he now considers himself a Scotsman which I think is lovely. I think he also seemed to imply being around a lot of noise and people is overwhelming for him, so I wonder if that’s why he sometimes he seems a bit subdued during the results show, with some of the other contestants really celebrating being safe (as is their right). Maybe his pain is bad at the moment too. Living with chronic pain myself I can appreciate how it feels during a pain flare up

I think he's a bit overwhelmed by the attention tbh it's a world away from his normal life. I think Jowita was an excellent choice for him, she's naturally calm and joyful like him but also appears to know when and where to put on the pressure, bringing balance to their partnership.
Some of the other pros might have been a bit too intense for him.

I’ve added him to my list of ‘brighter than average dancers’ 🤣
I daren't ask how many are on it! I know lots of them speak multiple languages, but most seem very uncurious about stuff beyond dance, wellbeing, facials etc.. I'd say Katya is pretty smart, and I get the impression Kai is too.. But yeah, leaving school at 16 and not having time for any other pursuits isn't ideal for widening one's horizons..

Small list, is it? 😁

It’s certainly on the petite side: Oti, Pasha, Nikita … and, err, that’s it!

Katya might have made the cut were it not for the fact that she selected both Neil and Seannnnnnn as viable liaisons, and I couldn’t get past that.
