I don't enjoy watching Dianne. I find her personality very forced and childish - she does that annoying thing of pretending to be stupid, which does women no favours at all. You also can't force quirky: you either are or you're not and she's not. Both her dancing as a pro and her choreography don't do anything for me, so coupled with feeling she's not being entirely authentic, I can't say I'll miss her when she leaves.

Also, I'm not the poster who doesn't like her because of her hair but I do agree that the tacky red should be banished back to the 2010 from whence it came.

I just wish she'd maintain the hair properly! If you're going to make a statement like that with your hair you've got to keep on top of the dark roots! There's weekends they really ruin the hairstyle they've done for her.

Oti has a degree in civil engineering, and Pasha always comes across as quite well read (and I’d imagine Rachel wouldn’t be settled with someone who was on the dim side), but in general dancers remind me of footballers in that, bar the occasional outlier, their brains are in their feet and they were more interested in training than homework.

Does anyone else remember Karen Hardy and her explanation of “central frugal force”?

Oh very much so like many in pro-sports they train so hard from a young age, unless they come from an academic family few do anything but the bare minimum devoting all their time to dance. This was really evident with AJ-P that not only was his education missing so was much of his personality.

Oh really I never knew.

I never followed his career tbh I only know him from two pints of larger because it was the most high profile.

Exactly it's the power imbalance. My husband and I have a big age gap so I am not one to judge age gaps outright but the details matter! It's the full on love bombing that creeps me out, he's way too old for that nonsense it's not his first rodeo!

OK you know I'm not a fan of the manrara presenting, tonight she was the best she's been (low bar) but I'm immediately fuming soon as she walks down those steps, hands in pockets - not only is it rude but it totally kills the outfit . Every time she stands it's hands in pockets, looking like odd testicles

I forgot to ask did anyone see Hamza and Jowita on Loose Women yesterday? He said that he now considers himself a Scotsman which I think is lovely. I think he also seemed to imply being around a lot of noise and people is overwhelming for him, so I wonder if that’s why he sometimes he seems a bit subdued during the results show, with some of the other contestants really celebrating being safe (as is their right). Maybe his pain is bad at the moment too. Living with chronic pain myself I can appreciate how it feels during a pain flare up
