Yeah, I don't think they would offer it to any from last year bar maybe AJ as she was injured? And I get the sense she has moved on! I guess it depends on whether they fill the 7 or so places with this year's cast. I can see Fleur and Molly being keen. Hamza I wondered about given his work and living in Scotland but he seems to be really enjoying it and would obv be a big draw...

At least we know Nikita will be on it!
 
Doubt anyone from a previous series will be there. This years tour was always going to have a mix because of covid buggering up things. Only AJ is a question mark but I think she’s long since moved on and Is prob

I’d say Molly and Fleur would be serious contenders. Hamza (assuming he does win) should be there (they’re lacking in suitable men this year so I’d say he needs to be)

Helen and Ellie T both have young children so I’m not sure either would want to leave them to tour. Kym is probably working and can’t necessarily commit. Same with James plus he was boring.

Tony would be fab and a laugh but I question his whether he’d be up for it physically. He looked done in towards the end.
 
I think the Strictly pros, producers and even AJ herself have completed moved on from the fact she missed her last opportunity to dance.

On a different topic, it wasn't until I was chatting to a guy while walking the dog earlier did I realise that Will was currently on Coronation Street. That'll be who is voting for the miserable old cry baby.
 
Until a few weeks ago, I would have thought Tony would be the traditional 'comedy duffer' in the tour line up, but I imagine he's not fit enough after his injury

Edit: I wouldn't rule Helen out just yet either. She might want to go into it like she's gone into Strictly, with it being too good an opportunity to miss. And I imagine what with her looking to be the only other celeb who might possibly challenge Hamza, the producers would be keen for her to do it too

Do the celebs get asked when they sign up whether they can commit to the tour? I can imagine the producers would want Helen on it..

I saw someone on twitter saying that Gorka probably won't do it anyway, as he'll be rehearsing for his tour with Karen (which starts 23 Feb, SCD tour ends 12th Feb I think.. :unsure: )

I think everyone has their faves and some just like to talk badly about the ones who simply aren't their faves.

One member has said she doesn't like her just because of her hair colour! To each their own I guess.

I think that Craig asks the celebs
after the series begins. He probably wants to see which celebs are popular enough for the tour.

Some people find her immature and annoying. I don't particularly dislike her, but I can see where they're coming from, I do find her a bit much at times. Some people also find her a weak choreographer, and think she must be a bad teacher to have not gotten some of her celebs further. I think she has had some bad luck and isn't entirely to blame for her 'week 4 curse' but I do think there are other female pros who could have gotten more out of some of her celebs than she did. I don't think her choreography is awful, but I do think it's a bit meh and forgettable. I struggle to think of many routines of hers I've liked. Also lots of people hate Joe and his sister (and possibly more members of the Sugg family, I think.) Can't speak to that as I've never really followed any of them.

ETA: Oh, it's also probably got a lot to do with how many loud annoying fans she has. Her and Joe's online fanbase can be obnoxious and immature, which doesn't help. They're always doing things like commenting on every pro dance youtube video with 'Dianne should've been the lead!' 'Why wasn't Dianne featured more in this!' and sometimes dogpiling people who make critical comments about her.

I wonder how much they get paid for the tour?

I'm guessing the celebs get the most followed by the judges, then Janette, then the pro's then the extra dancers.

There’s probably nothing concrete but I think there’s at least an expectation that you’ll agree to it if you get to a certain point In the competition. People usually forget who was there pre Halloween and want to see the better/more popular dancers.
Celebs are probably advised to keep jan/feb free if set in stone commitments so they are free.

Plus it’s allegedly a decent pay day… I think pros get another £30k (they allegedly get £35K for pro tour so Jan would Probably be the same) and the same for celebs I think.

I think she's a nice person but I just find her persona a bit infantile and her partnerships feel like they're about her more than the celeb. She also seems to rely a bit too much on having red hair and being AuStRaLiAn to stand out rather than letting the dancing do the talking

I wonder what the judges and Jannette get? I would say the pros who have partners get more than the extra dancers.

Probably way more than they deserve for for howl little they’re putting in compared to some of the dancers (especially the ones who are backing dancers for everyone) look At Blackpool… lauren,Michelle and Cameron were in almost every routine.
