I thought I was hallucinating, was half watching the results show last night, saw Neil dancing as Sam was singing. Next thing I looked and saw Gio. Phew, they were both there. . I thought at first I needed glasses

I'm going to rewatch both pro dances from last night, I thought the opening one was really good.

Oh totally! They all come up with their team names during the first week! It’s the way Dianne always uses this name as their superpower is annoying me - totally irrationally I admit I follow all the Strictly celebrities on Instagram because I do have mad respect and admiration for them (definitely a talent I wish I had!) but yeah somehow Dianne and her team names (throughout the years not just with Tyler) is what grinds my gears

She posted a story a while back about being comfortable on your own and not needing a relationship (doesn’t mean she doesn’t want one/isn’t in one) but I think she keeps things pretty private and locked down.

I agree with you. She tries *really* hard to make them happen, and it’s like, no one outside of your 14 year old fans actually cares?!

She just comes across a bit "try hard" in general. The improv stories were just embarrassing. I think if she just relaxed she'd be so much more tolerable.

She is obviously a good dancer herself, but I think she a bit like Janette in a way in that she can create a good partnership with the celeb but falls down at the actual teaching part. Just because someone can do, doesn’t mean they can teach. The fact that Anton said he should forget the partnering and just dance on his own … in week 9 … was a bit <yikes>.

I think that’s the issue. She’s 33 years old, not some sappy teenager, but she seems incredibly juvenile and silly.

A really touching post from Carlos, and I hadn’t really considered breaking into the European dance world for Chinese dancers and the challenges it presents. Big appreciation for Carlos and Vito also in how they’ve handled and supported their celebs being in multiple dance offs as new pros.

That's nice, I thought Carlos and Nancy really stood out in that pro number, hopefully we'll get to see them dance together some more.

I suppose with the number of good male pros out this year Cameron will probably not get a Xmas partner. I’m guessing they will use Neil, Kai, Gio and Nikita for the men and Nadiya, Luba, Michelle and Lauren/Amy for the women? Can’t even remember how many celebs they normally have.

Seems I’m in the minority. I loved the show and most, if not all the dances.

I think Fleur deserved her 40 though I do agree with a previous poster that it’s a good idea to give everyone a CC one week so we can compare. I’m not a fan of CC at all but loved Fleur’s dance Saturday night.

I think Molly and Tyler were the correct bottom 2 and for Tyler to leave. He’s not really improved much and was very samey.

I think it’s an Italian thing it’s much more common over there to smoke as a younger person. My friend’s Italian husband and all his siblings smoke. It does help with weight control which I imagine is a bonus too for professional dancers.
