Think Dianne was so desperate to get to the final she forgot about her celeb and teaching him the basics! Almost like she thought cause she’d been an early exit 3 years running she had ‘earned’ it. Feel in this partnership it sometimes felt it was more about her. After they played up the marathon/brother wedding too, I felt Tyler just went nowhere.

She'd have definitely done a Kevin if she'd won with Tyler just stood on the side clapping her.

Haven't watched yet but I liked Tyler. I thought he came across well in interviews on ITT. He started off as Shirley's pet and then she seemed to go off him. He took all comments with a gorgeous smile, he seems like a real upbeat character.

Now I can't be a hypocrite here because I did say previously that he just seemed to come back every week and get the same faults criticised again. Whereas the others worked on whatever they were told by the judges. I think maybe another pro would have worked better with him - Katya or Nancy for example - he is talented, I think they would have worked him harder.

I think Katya would have been great for him. He seems like he’s up for anything and is willing to learn and Katya loves to push the boat out with her partners

Katya had Adam last year and seemed to push the boat too much for him imo; I think at times with him she was either not teaching him the basics or giving him too much at times. Dianne was able to take Tyler further despite the significant height difference hindering them.
 
What a lovely tribute from Molly - that was a really emotional dance off. Neither deserved to be there when they had higher scores than others ☹️

For me, it felt like Tyler's dances were ordered to make sure he stayed for a certain amount of time to fulfil his "story" for the season. Once he'd done that then the producers didn't really care when he left.
 
I didn't enjoy Tyler as a dancer and I'm glad he's left, but he really grew on me as a person. Took criticism on board without taking it to heart.

Such an unpleasant thing to do. It doesn't seem in the spirit of the show to put one contestant down in order to big another up, and also puts the contestant being praised in an awkward position. Although I'm sure Will didn't mind too much!

Thinking back, I remember when she was with Joe Sugg he seemed to just peak after Blackpool and go backwards
 
Aw well I think it was Tyler’s time to go and he was very cheery and generous about it. Poor Molly, but she’ll prob get a DO bounce.

I’m guessing Fleur will be back in ballroom next week so that will be interesting..

Btw, still thinking about the move Vito did in the CC - when he dropped to his knees and then laid right back, then sprang back up again. These pros are amazing 😮

This is why the poor things all need hip and knee replacements by the time they are 45!
