He absolutely cannot get his head round the ā€˜in the event of a tieā€™ rule, and now my mum is trying to explain it using four mini jumper Christmas decorations sheā€™s knitted to represent the judges, a glasses case to represent Molly, and an Aero to represent Tyler. Iā€™ll be watching next weekā€™s episode in my own home. Alone.
 
I think it was Tylerā€™s time to go , but his leaving speech is sweet. I think itā€™s the first time Iā€™ve heard him have chance to talk about what Strictly has meant to him. So much of time seems to have been overshadowed by the judges , Tess, Claudia etc harping on about Dianne getting past week 4

next week will be interesting. The weakest dancer left is Ellie , but she seems popular with voters.and as itā€™s musicals week , if she gets the right song/dance combo , she could score ok . Molly might benefit from sympathy votes for being in the dance off this week , which might put Fleur , Kym or even Helen at risk . Will seems to have a pretty loyal fan base , as does Hamza , so I think they are the only 2 safe for now

Do we think the shows a bit meh this year because we don't know half the 'celebrities'? I mean a few years ago there were more known celebs and a couple of 'who are they?'

Also when it comes to the DO when judging do you think they should take into consideration how many times the celeb has been in the DO before?

My favourite thing about Blackpool and Musicals week is getting to watch Jake Leigh dance. He could never be a professional on the show because he's not ballroom and latin trained but he's such a fantastic performer.

Same he's wonderful to watch.
I don't want to sound like an escapee from the Rose & Gio thread but I wasn't too impressed with Arduino I thought he would be much better, I had been looking forward to seeing him dance too, I found him distracting and not in a good way. Still he's one of the better choreographers!
 
Definitely time for Ellie to go. I can't think of one memorable dance she's done. Doesn't stand out and I know Johannes is lovely but it's a dance competition and there's better people who deserve to stay in.

When they announced the votes, it might just have been because she's nervous but found Molly's smirking off putting and losing sympathy. But don't think I'll miss Tyler next week as he'd peaked at about week 4

I weirdly like him more after that speech as he's come across as such a lovely and humble person. Shame he didn't show it earlier. And great he didn't resort to using a sob story or kids (looking at you mardy) for votes. Surely Fleur can't have any more sad stories to buy votes?

Kym is slowly coming out.
But the celebs seem to lack sense of humour
I think this year unless you watch ITT it's hard to connect with the personalities on a Saturday night only.

I didnt get to see the actual dance off dances but I'm already seeing comments online saying Tyler's dance was better....was that true? And no it wasnt by Dianne fans before anyone starts :cautious: I think Tyler had much more to do in general with his dance.


Also I didnt know this but apparently Shirley used to teach Carlos when he was younger???
