Does she not get that she wasn't popular? She's acting like her bring booted off Strictly was some sort of discriminatory decision made by high up producers, when she simply just did not get the votes

Same with her calling the bookies fatphobic because her odds were so bad. That's not how odds are worked out 😆

And to think I quite liked her at the start of the series...

At the start of each show, and also ITT, when all of the celebrities are named and shown with their partners she is the only one of those who are gone, that I think 'meh' when I see her.

I had never heard of her before the show tbh, but just couldn't take to her at all. And I thought she looked as if she was making no effort whatsoever - apart from going on and on about being such a fan of Strictly. 🙄

I don't get the arrogance thing either. She clearly knows how to perform and sell a dance, but that's just down to experience and her being in her comfort zone, not being arrogant. At the start I did think she was a bit too polished in interviews, but she seems lovely

I think it's just that she's quite loud, which for some translates as 'thinks she's it' (which as we know for a woman is the worst sin ever). She just seems like quite a laugh to me. And obv I love her partnership with Vito, which also highlights where I think Molly is a bit lacking - what Craig might call the 'dahnce chemistry' isn't really there for me with Molly and Carlos, nice as they are.

I'm hoping for some pics or stories from the Blackpool afterparty - if it's not like the last days of the Roman Empire I'll be disapointed!
 
Just watched on iPlayer in about 35 minutes 😂

Hamza - 😍 I just love him. I think he loves Jowita a little bit.
Mollie - hmmm, didn't think there was much 'jive', felt like she was running around a lot. Overmarked.
Kym - get off the stairs! Felt a bit meh about that as well. Distracted by the awful singing I think.
Tyler - there was a lot going on in that dance! Technically not great. Overmarked.
Ellie - Yeh that was fine. Pointless ending.
Helen - loved that. Helen really made the most of that. The ending 🤣
Fleur - Wow! Maybe a little out of time towards the end, but wow. Yeyyy a Fab-u-lous.

(Oh Katya looking v.emosh!) (Also been confused wonderimg why Fleur was in the audience, is that her twin or just her sister!?)

Will - I kinda wanted to like it,but I just wasn't interested

I wasn’t familiar with her before Strictly but the clip of her dancing as part of her stand up routine got my attention. Then it just all went wrong!

The retweets will be folk saying she should have made the final without even a teeny hint of self-awareness
 
Watched last night’s dances on YouTube cos after catching up on the thread, I don’t think I could suffer through it.

Hamza - a delight. The type of dance that’s just suited to Blackpool.

Molly - heavy footed and not a lot of actual jive content?

Kym - I had to watch it a second time with the sound off cos the music was so distracting. She danced it well but was shafted by the God awful song choice.

Tyler - it was actually fun but there was a lot of dancing out of hold (I know the floor is bigger etc but still) and the lifts didn’t really flow with the dance.

Ellie - lovely but wasn’t a fan of the song. Also thought it would’ve been better if she’d come down on the prop at the start instead of strapping herself in and being beamed up at the end.

Helen - my fave dance of the night. She should’ve got 40.

Fleur - I didn’t love it tbh. She was done up like the tin man and was about as stiff as him too.

Will - quite enjoyable, sadly but again not a lot in hold? Nancy is incredible though.

Why does she have such devoted fans? I'd never heard of her before Strictly. She wasn't that great, and decided to go into an all female partnership because she knew no male dancer would be able to lift her! Why isn't Hamza the ' big prople can dance' champion? Is it because he doesn't go on about it?
 
I can only recall Hamza mentioning his weight once, and that was only to say he'd lost some since training. He hasn't made being 'bigger' a big deal.

I'm not tiny by any means (just putting that out there before anyone says anything, lol) and it would have been nice if a bigger female celeb could have done well, but I think it shouldn't be THE ONLY thing the celeb focuses on, if that makes sense?

Edited to add: That's all Jayde seemed to be pushing and it was boring
 
When I was in my aforementioned Zumba class yesterday, I was thinking about the Couples Choice, and I thought they should replace it with a choice of actual dances- like ' choose from one of for example, the mambo, the tango and the Charleston', and keep the freestyle stuff for the final, like it used to be. At least it would have rules and could be properly judged.

I got a feeling about that last night. Think it was calling her "darling" twice like they've been married ten years. He really is the loveliest man. 🥺

I did, yeah, as a joke/observation (much like the several others who have compared it to a snake charmers basket, a lobster creel etc).
Absolutely no offence intended and as I said, she's fabulous and she worked it 🤷‍♀️
