Missed tonight and couldn't really be bothered to catch up fully so have only watched my favourites dance (Hamza and Molly), so anything I say regarding this week is totally biased! Poor old Molly in the dance-off again. Pleasantly surprised they've kept her in over Tyler.

Quite sick of Ellie still being there. I mean obviously I'd rather lose Will, but that goes without saying.

I think it's the Journey Contestant people, plus her partnership with Jojo is very charming.

I wouldn't say she can't dance, though she is probably the weakest now. Out next week I should think as she's bound to have a Latin.

I think Tyler and Dianne probably had a feeling there time would be soon enough after being in the DO last week. I think they did really well and especially for an unknown DJ which if everyone knows the history of strictly its hard for the DJ contestants to go far. Perhaps strictly in the future could not give a contestant a lot of the crowd pleasing dances in the first number of weeks as well as given them the death slot 3 times ?!?!

I think if Tyler didn't go this week then he was most likely going to go next week. He's had 2 latin dances in a row so he was probably back to ballroom next week and that's just not his strong point. This way he goes out in a big way plus he seemed to have really enjoyed that dance.

I disagree!!! Tyler is only good out of hold and hasnt improved since the show started. Kim, who I didn't like before the show, has improved.

Basically the problem is Dianne not training him properly. Likewise Molly and Carlos.

We haven't seen the dance off though. Also, listening to Tyler's criticism his hip rotation wasn't there which is crucial to salsa and he was working methodically through the lifts. Molly didn't have as much critique, though I agree her dance wasnt as entertaining it was technically much better and more difficult than what Tyler did

At least Carlos has an excuse as it’s his first series and i’m sure in time he will learn. Dianne has been on the show for 6 years and is well aware of how it works yet does nothing to improve her flaws as a teacher.

I think they also need to match couples better. The height difference was never going to work either - there were always glaring problems with Tyler in hold

I agree Fill. I think the height difference always going to be a hindrance. As discussed before on here I do think the initial partnerships would have been Dianne/Will Nancy/Tyler but TPTB maybe thought Tyler would be too similar to Rhys. I'm so glad it didnt end up that way even if Will is still in the competition.

I think those partnerships would have worked better, height wise at least.

I'm sure she would; I mean everyone keeps mentioning the Dev exit (which I dont blame her for as everyone was shocked about his elimination) but she held it together during the Max exit. I think you're allowed to shed some tears at least; you spend all this time with someone having a laugh and teaching them. It's sad for the journey to be over. Other female pros have shed tears before as well.
 
So I have finally watched my babies Fleur and Vito in their apparently polarising (going by DS) CC. Loved how Vito stepped back and was 'the Michelle', allowing her to shine. As he said a few weeks ago, you shouldn't try to turn a lion into a lamb. Fleur's mum is an icon too. The theatre around Craig's 10 is annoying but I can't object to it as she should have had it last week.

Shirley showing off her 'club moves' was a new level of cringe o_O
