They used to have live acts to sing us out on the hour-long Friday ITT, didn't they? It triggered flashbacks to some mildly awful live performances being cut off very abruptly by the BBC Continuity Announcer.

Nice to see Jenny-from-the-Chase and CBBC-Rhys-from-last year on the panel (one feels Rhys in all his enthusiastic ambition might have done better being on it this year. I think he would have had a better chance at the final in a year that didn't include John/Rose/AJ, and might have brought a bit more pep to what has been a reasonably muted series)

Why have we never had anyone from The Chase on Strictly? Jenny would have a lovely time bopping around with Kai for a few weeks

Lots of Fleur support on ITT 💗 Her and Vito were looking good, same with Kym and Graz.


Really liked the ITT panel tonight, Rhys was on form, Jenny Ryan is fantastic and no idea who the other chap was but I liked him!

The only song I used to like was on they used to do about Christmas Special time when they corralled all the Judges and others to sing a festive song when they were all half a dozen eggnogs to the good. Carnage.

Wasn't there some controversy last year about them not paying the musicians? Maybe they decided they didn't have the budget and didn't want to get dragged for it again.
