My favourite bit is where he’s going to swing her round, but he has to get a bit of momentum going first
It finishes me off every time.
Also the bit where he drags her along the floor on her arse, like a dog with worms
Just watched. I'm crying . Even the beginning, carrying her on, I'm thinking no, no, no !Every time I watch it, it reaches new levels of holy tit what the bleeping duck.

Have you ever seen The Puppet dance... that defies explanation for me
I can sort of see what Brendan was trying to achieve here but Erin has no excuse! Those two are the reason we now have very controlled worthy show dances that all kinda have the same vibe and morph in CC.
I will never get over no one telling them in the week of practicing this it was a bad bad idea.
I've never watched this all the way though before and omg whyyyyyyyyy. Another level of wtf and awkward. Them just standing there at the end with their creepy dummies looking crestfallen - so bleak
(Also Tess used to be quite good at presenting? What happened there?)

Ah yes. I momentarily forgot Rhys' Argentine Tango because I was remembering people speculating in the earlier weeks that his Latin was very 'safe' but you're right. There's no reason she shouldn't be able to do it, but maybe she just doesn't want to. Still worried it's gonna send her home. Then again, maybe Craig will hate the unsexy rumba so much she'll get some sympathy votes? No they only have so many vt teams so they spread their time across the couples and have to travel to the various places they're training/ doing nonsensical vts.
Rhys never did a rumba last year but their Argentine Tango was a typical Argentine Tango. So why can't Molly the 21 year old actress act a sensual dance?
she would have won regardless on sympathy. He just got lucky to go on the ride with herI’ve really liked a few of his partnerships, particularly with Rose, but I don’t think he’d have won with a different partner, whereas I think she’d have won with a different pro. I get annoyed with some of his fans attributing everything she’s achieved to him too.
Here's hoping Gorka takes that photo as a challenge to show more!Gorks is determined to get to the final using his arse as a weapon!
Meanwhile I am feeling somewhat faint (what a job those tanning girls have!)
I don’t get this argument about Rose. There have been disabled contestants on previous series and none of them won so it clearly can’t have been down to sympathy alone. Don’t get me wrong, her story was inspiring but she was also incredibly likeable and positive, was great at ballroom and had a pro who really played to her strengths. To dismiss her achievement by insinuating that people just felt sorry for her is not only wrong but ableist. Not jayde getting a card through the week saying she should’ve won and agreeing with it two tone tessie, you were tit.
Funnily enough,

I didn't think she was a brilliant dancer but I found her personality very likeable and her relationship with Giovanni was funny, made me laugh, and was warming to watch.I don’t get this argument about Rose. I actually only enjoyed (and remember!) AJ’s jive and AT, which is probably unpopular, but I did think she was a good dancer. It’s a shame she got injured but I don’t think anyone was beating Rose at that point. The winner (and the final three) were very obvious from early on last year which took away a wee bit of the enjoyment for me.I didn't think she was a brilliant dancer but I found her personality very likeable and her relationship with Giovanni was funny, made me laugh, and was warming to watch.
I would have liked AJ to win. We'll never know had AJ remained in the final if Rose would have won or not (and John's dance wasn't great).
The Queen was involved in the war effort, to be fair. But I agree it would be odd to make her the focus of the dance when Remembrance Day is about many more people and has wider themes, like the impact of war in generalI hope not and I doubt it considering the dance is about veterans and current servicemen/women. Has absolutely nothing to do with the queen.
