I just want to say something. I deleted Twitter in January this year but I knew the only thing that would lure me back was the chats about strictly, then I stumbled across this forum and it's great to chat to people who are REALLY into it. What I never understood about twitter was people taking it so seriously picking fights with each other. I love this, I love to see my faves do well, but it is a fun show that provides escapism and the silly drama and the CHEMISTRY (like Kym and Graziano tonight) are all part of that but I really don't understand why people get viscious about it. To a lesser extent you can see it creeping into this thread but on the whole the banter and discussion here is absolutely tops. I'm currently struggling with chronic pain and can't leave the house and it gives me such good company.

I don’t use Twitter and prefer IG to Facebook (but use both) however on a much smaller scale, some of the people who are in the FB groups are too much for me:

Person A: I’m fed up of seeing Will undermarked, he’s a joy to watch!

Person B: Well I think he’s overmarked and…

Person A: BE KIND!!!!!

I enjoy it here because it’s a discussion forum and to the main, it’s great. I don’t agree with everyone but feel I can say that here and I think others can too. And the ignore button is handy too.

I’m glad the Neil Jones Depreciation Society are helping you through tough times!
 
It just feels RIGHT to have Countryfile back on directly before Strictly Results.

I mean, Antiques Roadshow has its' place, but that place is AFTER Strictly. One needs a bit of sheep poo on the moorland, cows having traumatic births and John Craven selling the Countryfile Calender in order to get you into a nicely Strictly Results show sort of mood.

Anyways, i’m looking forward to seeing Fleur & Vito’s reaction when they are announced as safe. After being in the dance off last week and with all of the bullshit in the press I can imagine it would have come as a surprise to them!

I agree completely with your comments re the lack of respect for Katya and her dedication and commitment to her contestant, always. Another way she is disrespected: always given duffer contestants. Next year better be a ringer for her!

In my opinion she’s the only pro that can get the absolute best out of any partner regardless of their ability, but this shouldn’t be a reason for the producers to always give her the duffers! With that being said I love the relationship she has with all of her partners and the fact that she’s still good friends with most of them speaks volumes about how much they appreciate her.
 
The thing is Shirley will have had Dianne's name written down in her notebook.

Katya must realise that even the best can go wrong on the live show even after good dress rehearsals. Even Danny was robbed Mac in the final. Katya herself has fell over in big comps. As someone pointed out perhaps going last didn't help him either. It happens. But Tony this week could pick up and carry on far better than he could in week 1.

I've actually heard an ex pro say that Ed Balls Ed Balls ballroom footwork was much better than that year's winner (Ore) and we saw the story the beeb made of his ballroom.

Anyway Nikita you best get your shirt off and swing it around

I do think Katya understands that but at the same time it must be soul destroying 😂
 
I missed last nights show and haven't had a chance to catch up yet. Is it worth me watching the whole thing or are they any stand out dances on youtube I should just watch instead?

I think they have two soloists from a Bollywood dance company so that is something. I know Michelle is also taking centre stage.
But do we need Neil huffing along in the back with his Bollywood moves?

Why are they dancing to, shudder, Dua Lipa fusion? Is this problematic cultural appropriation?

I thought several of Ore's dances were extremely wooden and he barely moved (a bit like James Bye the other week in one of his ballroom numbers). I'd always expect him to receive some form of criticism but they thought he was some sort of messiah who could do no wrong. Meanwhile Danny Mac was quite literally doing no wrong (or very little) and was scrutinised even though a lot of his dances were the best we'd ever seen. Even the vanilla Louise Redknapp was a lot better than Ore.

I agree totally and she has a special talent to be able to make strong friendships with people from all walks of life - she’s had a very mixed bag of contestants and is still in contact with all of them, including Ed Balls 😂😂!! I think Oti was similarly skilful in her approach to forming relationships and that being visible to the viewers at home through their dancing.
