Ach, I don't mind Amy. There's no harm in her. She's very enthusiastic about the show and clearly feels very deeply about everything -good and bad- that happens to her and her partners on the show. She's a wee sensitive soul, as my gran would say, and that can lead to being a touch clingy or over-emotional with her partners, but equally, can be good in helping a very nervous beginner dancer feel welcome and safe with her.
I thought James gave a lovely farewell interview, very relaxed, very complimentary towards Amy, no sour grapes or nippy comments about anything or anyone. Very professional. Hope he gets a nice juicy storyline in Eastenders next year and a BAFTA nod or something, seems a nice chap.
Same here. I'm not a longterm watcher of Strictly so don't know a huge amount about her anyway.
I have to catch up yet on his interview with Rylan but I thought James came across all the time as a genuinely nice man. He got a bit emotional last night through being absolutely wrecked I would say, so while he didn't launch into a goodbye speech, he still thanked everyone, and was very gracious - and relieved . He gave it all he had imo, and was appreciative of feedback good and bad.
I also thought that there was genuine affection from the others towards him.
You could see Tony rubbing the back of his head when they all gathered around him and Amy.
