That’s totally fair, everyone is entitled to vote for whoever they want and if they don’t connect with someone then there’s absolutely no issue in not voting for them! I think a lot of my issue isn’t really the voting but more the abuse she’s been getting on social media, she comes across as a really lovely person so it’s just confusing to me why people dislike her so much? I said it earlier but I feel like regardless of how she does tonight she will be in the dance off.

rose was lightning in a bottle really. great combo with a popular pro, had almost every aspect that the audience enjoys in a female dancer.
now that i’ve written all that i genuinely am shocked that both kara and jill won. kara did have a lovely thing going with artem though so i wonder how much that helped (it seems so long ago that i can’t remember! i only remember them kissing when she won and being shook)

the relationship that strictly voters have with female contestants is really complex imo. it takes a very particular type of woman to win this show and looking back it’s amazing that kara did. i can’t tell you how many times i’ve seen a “oh i just don’t like her, there’s something about her” aimed at a female contestant whereas men can (for the most part) sail on through. if tony was a woman would she get all of the “go on toni! she’s giving it her best shot!” comments that he’s getting? it’s very strange and rooted in something i can’t quite put my finger on

The problem is that the worst dancers who escaped the dance off now are either pulling in the lion’s share of the public votes or getting a sympathy pass for one bad dance … leaving the clumped up middle of the board extremely vulnerable. Last week, she was tied on points with Will and Helen so they fact they out ranked her in the public vote isn’t really a shocker. The only people below her were James who was actually in the dance off, Ellie S playing the bad dance card and Tony going nowhere till after Blackpool. Just above her were Mollie on a bottom 2 bounce and Hamza so no chance. Really, the leaderbaord ties are as much to blame as anything.
She’s definitely on the receiving end of Shirley’s typical venom and I think there probably is some folk will go by what the Judges said. I’ve kind of avoided social media around it because it’s just so grim all the time!
He sounds like a toddler throwing his toys out of the pram. I think he thought that him and Richie would be a repeat of John and Johannes which they clearly weren't.
Pretty much, yeah. They definitely posted at least a couple of other videos where they were jokingly insulting each other. For example, there was one where they were getting their makeup done and he comments, totally deadpan 'because you really need it,' and she immediately, gleefully replies that you'd need a huge towel to wipe all his makeup off and underneath his face is like a foot.
I dunno, given that he also said the line in the scripted ITT bit, makes me think it might not even have come from him.
It's defo Gio. If I recall correctly, that morning Maura had posted from his flat, then they must have had a huge bust-up as I don't think they were seen together again.
