Jo Clifton ever so politely insuinating that Vito needed to cut the lifts in that dance, that the judges have been a bit mean-spirited at Tony in prior weeks, and that Anton was away with the fairies in his comments on Saturday was a delightful moment.

I know she has her detractors, and her metaphors are absolutely mental, but underneath it all she has incredible amount of practical knowledge and common sense when it comes to the choreography (and the dancing of said choreography on the night), and makes all clear as to why something didn't quite look right on the night.

Tony continues to be very sincere and adorable in his interviews with Rylan and Katya too. Him calling Saturday night "match day" made me laugh, but I do worry a little for him, he seems to be beating himself up quite a lot over being a smidge narky at Shirley, or making mistakes. I like Katya continually being VERY FIRM with him and briskly hauling him out of his introspective moments, I feel that no-nonsense attitude is what he needs.
 
I do think Ellie S & Nikita are fortunate to be pulling in the votes - compared to the other dances last weekend, it did seem very lacklustre and the theming & costumes didn't help. Agree with JC that there needed to be more in the flow action between movements and it was very stop start. I hope that they can recapture their momentum and the Charleston sparkles.
