Is the arena tour the finalists normally and those who finished high up? I wonder if Helen would do it with three small kids at home.
I wonder if AJ would come back and do it a la Maisie, though I guess Maisie only stepped in as AJ was injured..
Not necessarily. Catherine was on tour in 2020 (before she got injured and had to pull out) and she went out week 6 during her series. Mike Bushell too who i’m sure was out before Blackpool. At the moment I would say the likely tour lineup will be Hamza, Tyler, Ellie S, Molly, Fleur, Tony, Ellie T/Helen. Ellie & Helen might not want to leave their kids but it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity and it’s only 3 weeks so who knows.

Interesting that Graziano isn't on the pro tour, adds to my suspicions that he might finish Strictly soon and head to join Giada on Ballando con le Stelle.

I doubt that, he would be insane to leave the biggest dance show in the world for a relatively unknown version. I think he won’t tour as much next year and spend time with his wife/family but I don’t see him leaving the actual show any time soon.

I wouldn't be surprised, they may want to start a family soon and being away 6 months of the year may no longer be something they are willing to do anymore.

If Michael and Jowitta were still together I would be hopeful that he would join being he's one of the taller Pros. He came 2nd last night on the polish version dancing with a man, much more controversial there than here, he came over really well. The celebs/show are a much lower standard than ours but I think he did a good show dance within those limitations.

The winner Ilona was better in skill, plus the pro Robert Rowinski has plenty of experience having been on the Polish version in the past, then on the Irish version for a few years before going back to the polish version this year.

The winners, I can only imagine Lens reaction to the faffing the last 12 seconds is them walking away!

I guess that sums up where the Polish version is in terms of standards - Robert Rowiński was deemed by quite a few to be one of the worst on DWTS Ireland and yet he has two wins in Poland in completely different eras.

Good on Michael for making such a success of the same-sex pairing though, 2nd place in Poland is no mean feat when you consider the political climate there.

No no no I’m not down for Craig leaving at all. Nope , no that can’t happen. It’s been said before, get rid of CC, it’s just a way of giving all couples a show dance of sorts. You could argue it’s a way of letting viewers know a bit more about the celebs, but that sort of dance is a reward, for want of a better word for getting to the final. I agree that in weeks 1 & 2 all the celebrities do one ballroom and one Latin dance.

I didn't mind Robert on the Irish version although I really rated Kai and Pasquale la Rocca who is rather bonkers but teaches good technique.

I've just remembered during switch up week they gave Robert kai's partner Demi who was a real duffer, she clearly hated Robert apparently he's very strict in Comparision to kai. Demi really mouthed off to the judges, they tore the routine apart, it cut to kai and you could tell he was mortified. 😬

I like Pasquale too. He was mooted on SCD this year but they took Vito and Pasquale went to Ballando con le stelle. Just looked to see how he's doing. He's partnered with a journalist - the last dance they did, she seems to be injured, and he's basically hauling her round the floor! Reading about it it appears they were ordered to participate instead of retiring, and he then stormed off apparently after the show! honestly, we complain about Strictly but it is a model of professionalism..

I don't mind Couple's Choice when it's actually the couple's choice. If the celeb actually wants to do a contemporary or a jazz, or even, ugh, a street dance, good for them. I didn't really like Tyler's, a couple of the lifts were cool but that was about it, but at least you could tell he did actually like it. I didn't really like whatever the hell style Tilly and Nikita's was supposed to be, but at least they seemed genuinely excited about the Matilda theme and looked like they were having fun. tit like what poor Molly and Carlos were lumbered with, on the other hand, can duck right the duck off. It's really not fair that some celebs get a run, jump and/or waft about free pass to next week and some get thrown under the Producer's Choice bus.

They seriously made her dance when injured? And one of the judges also gave her a 0. That's disgusting, no wonder Vito got out ASAP. Pasquale has possibly burned his bridges already by storming off but might be worth it, another version will pick him up. Apparently the host in Italy controls the entire show and had a strop when one of the long running pros quit after 15 years and didn't agree it with her first. No wonder it's such a freak show when controlled by someone who is merely a presenter. Strictly sounds like heaven in comparison.

They had to withdraw this week from the comp this week because her knee injury just wasn't clearly going to heal. He seems like a caring person it must be awful to teach knowing your student is in pain.

I think they actually continued for a number of weeks it seems to have happened early on then probably stressed it even more. Only withdrawing because the celeb could no longer bear the pain. Not forgetting the bloody long term damage, she would have been doing to herself.
