1. Goodbye Motsi. I liked her to begin with but she's worn thin now. I don't think Shirley should go unless she chooses to because her credentials are incredible but maybe tge producers could tell her to tone down the salivating.
2. Stop giving everyone who doesn't miss a step a standing ovation
3. Go back to the format of having dancers dance either a ballroom or latin in the first two-three weeks. That way the judges can compare the dancers to each other properly.
4. Save the argentine tango for quarter finals and everyone does one. It's too special a dance for week 2 or 3 imo and it used to be something to look forward to.
5. Pack in the Sunday show.
6. Give Gilikison the heave-ho
7. Bring in a former winning pro to replace Motsi. Karen Hardy, Darren thingymajig, Lillia Kopylova or Aliona maybe. Please never Kevin Clifton please please please.
8. Bin couples choice
9. Bin the American smooth and do more foxtrots!
10. Bring back the sanctity of the 10

Agree with pretty much everything on your list except your no.1 point... Motsi brings much needed diversity to the panel which would be a bit stale and dare I say "pale" without her inane wafflings, tiffs with Craaaig & quite frankly gravity defying hairstyles - she brings colour (no pun intended) and flavour to the judges so don't mind keeping her for now - I'd rather replace Shirl tbh

This may have been discussed before, yesterday on Lorraine they were pushing the “ will there be a shock win this year” i thought hamza was who they were talking about but they said an online Arsenal forum with 100,000 members are backing Tony..

I wonder if the pro’s get wind of the voting figures when I see them turning up on Lorraine etc
 
I see the pro tour has been announced: glad to see my boy Vito on there as I guess he won't get to do the main tour (unless they draft him if eg Gorka doesn't want to do it, or if they bring back AJ!). No Nadiya, Kai, Gio, who have their own tours..

It's weird, I find Jowita absolutely beautiful but I can never recognise her in pictures - I'm always like, who is that one?
 
Motsi is actually great fun, when you see her away from the judging panel.
She was on the Graham Norton show recently and she is so funny, with that great infectious laugh of hers. I saw her on with Graham before and he was teasing her about the fact that Oti won twice since she arrived on the judging panel. She totally cracked up laughing over that. 😁

I would probably keep all four but with some of the caveats we have mentioned here such as Shirley reining in the salivating over some of the men and the automatic bitchiness to some of the women. You can pretty much tell beforehand who she will be overpraising (a man) and who will get the sharp edge of her critique (a woman) from week one.

From what you experienced Strictly posters have said I think back to basics would be great too. And also have the more difficult dances further on, when the competition is really warming up.

I always wonder a bit too about them all doing differen dances, on one night. If it was bake off for example, you wouldn't have one contestant making a sponge cake and another, a full on iced wedding cake or something 😁

But surprised to see Karen doing it as she didn't seem that happy with the intense schedule this year - might be her last hurrah for Strictly?

Yeah I guess she won't be doing the SCD tour in Jan so will get a break. Also no Johannes, who has his own tour, but why no Graziano?? maybe he's going back to Italy for a bit.. At least there'll be Neil! (but no Katya)...!

Yeah, I'm a bit surprised by no Graziano and Katya, unless they have other tours not yet announced

Neil tho 😬. Tbf, he was the best out of the male pros at the compere stuff on the last tour. You've got to admire his ability to hang on in there 😆
 
Is there a here come the boys this year ? I wonder if graz is doing that. Not sure who else would be on it thought (maybe Aljaz)

I don’t think Gorka or Karen will be on January arena tour first fire dance date is 23rd feb and arena tour finishes on the 12th feb which doesn’t leave much time for recovery and rehearsals.

Same here. The pro dances were so much better when the pros choreographed them - though that was back when the pros were all ballroom/Latin specialists. With the current crop, I’m not sure we’d get the same calibre of routine.
 
Pretty chuffed with the line up tbh, great male pros (and Neil) and decent female line up too.

I was going to be pretty much getting tickets anyway as my kids have decided they want to see a strictly show and this comes much closer than the Live tour to us. I also think this will be more buzzy and dancy than the live tour- having seen it a few times I think they would be a bit bored at the judges comments etc.

I prefer the pro tour to the live tour - just a better standard of dancing in smaller venues so a bit better value for money. Also, you see lots of new routines that weren't on the main show
 
I'm quite pleased by that line up too, I will probably go to that over the live tour this year. I go to the tours for the pros and their dances, I remember being excited to find out which one would make the tour but now I doubt any will entice me this year.

I can’t see Vito not being a part of live tour, I can definitely imagine Fleur being part of the lineup. If not he will probably be used as a backup dancer or might step in to dance with Helen in Gorka’s place (if she does tour which she might have to considering she’s probably a finalist).

The last Firedance show was excellent. Good if you don't want any 'banter' and just dancing - I really want to see the new show, but they haven't announced any dates in Scotland (yet🙏). If I can't go to that I'll think I'll go to the pro tour instead

Just pondering which celebs might do the arena tour. Possibly Helen, Fleur, Molly, Will, Tony, Tyler and Hamza?

Is the arena tour the finalists normally and those who finished high up? I wonder if Helen would do it with three small kids at home.
I wonder if AJ would come back and do it a la Maisie, though I guess Maisie only stepped in as AJ was injured..
