I

I don't blame him for being a bit annoyed, but actually saying it? Seriously? Read the room, other people were sick too, Tyler ran a marathon and then did a Charleston, and no one else is whining like this. Can't believe his agent or something isn't warning him about how badly he's coming across.
Yeah I agree. I can't blame him because they were sympathetic towards others for different reasons and they have had a pattern of "oh poor you you danced on a sore foot" scoring. BUT he's a bit of a dumbo for speaking about it now. Wait until you're booted out. Shirley is going to mark him down for not towing the party line.

he should have taken the bye, then … if you present yourself on the floor then basically you are saying you are okay to be judged.
Its even more unfair to start adding to points onto someone who sniffs and coughs the loudest when others had had a similar, yet quieter, week

The Strictly producers NEED to book Owain Wyn Evans for the dancefloor next year. Such adorable enthusiasm, such eloquent knowledge! Such glorious pastel suits, he wouldn't need Wardrobe to dress him!

Angela Rippon giving the camera the side-eye when Rylan said Jayde was really good in that training footage was EVERYTHING. I love Angela, because Jayde was basically standing still slowly holding out an arm whilst Karen spun around her energetically, and it looked sodding awful.

I did feel sorry for Kym and Graz, their dance was darn good and did not deserve to be in the dance off. Kym seemed a little chirpier tonight than previously, though I think Graz praising her so effusively at every opportunity is perhaps not what she needs or wants, it seems to make her tense up in the same way Helen did when Gorka gabbled about her bad week in the Clauditorium.

James seems a nice man, but I am struggling to find anything particularly interesting about him, good or bad. I would have liked to see him with a more peppy and slightly more adventurous partner (Nancy, possibly?) to bring out his inner dancing devil. As it is, he and Amy are very safe, very bland. Very nice. And nice don't get you past Blackpool, darlings.

Training footage: Kym is wearing a massive poofy pink skirt in training, and it looks amazing, I love a giant skirt, so that may be influencing my desire to see them do well. Helens' Charleston moves look very promising and she seemed to be enjoying herself, which is lovely, though the music is mental. The Grange Hill Couples Choice and the Casualty Tango continues to baffle me entirely.

In conclusion: long live great big puffy skirts, Angela Rippon and Owain Wyn Evans' tailor!

Was it confirmed Will was given the option to miss a week or are we just assuming? I haven't watch ITT since Claudia stopped doing it 👵😆 so I might have missed it

I thought Owain was a shoo in for this year.
my conspiracy theory is he was supposed to be, was a late drop out and Ritchie was a replacement,
obviously this is based on nothing at all.

Now that Owain has a higher profile gig at the BBC having taken over Feltz's early breakfast radio show, I think he is likely to be in next year. If not next year then I wonder if the show doesn't see him as the right fit because he has been rumoured a lot.

god i hope not - i can’t bear him (i know a lot of people who know him personally). i do wonder, like you say, if the constant rumours about him might end up being a disadvantage, but i can’t think of another example where that’s happened with a celeb.

he does wear great suits though 🤣
