I'd have liked Matt to progress a bit further but he was kinda on borrowed time so it doesn't shock me. I'm glad he bowed out on a relative high as he finally had a show where he seemed comfortable and genuinely wish him the best.

Kym is one who I thought would struggle with votes before long so that's no surprise. Also wasn't keen on Graz's choreo for her tonight.

I have already mentioned this on another thread so apologies in advance if you have read this before. I worked in a school and we used abbreviations to refer to difficult pupils when in the company of others. ELF was frequently used, Evil Little F*cker. It still makes me smile every time I hear it!

yeah, I think it was a kindness for Matt to go. He didn't seem able to progress. Typhoid Maurice/Will must have hoovered up lots of votes and it was inevitable that someone else might get sucked in - I thought maybe Jayde or Ellie T.
 
With this elimination in mind - can we please get a ringer for Nadiya next year? She was a good sport with Matt and I think it's time she gets a really good partner who she can make her first final with. There has to be someone tall enough with dance talent out there. Ideally someone on the younger side as well, her last 3 partners have been David (49), Dan (44) and Matt (54).

I agree with Mr Thorp. The flagship show of the BBC autumn schedule and they think a results show is OK to pre record. It should be live.

I'm not sure it makes a difference. It's easy enough to avoid spoilers if you don't actively look for them. The alternative would be taking up yet another half an hour or so on Saturday night for the results show, or dragging everyone back on their one free day just for half an hour. The DM print this same story about nothing every year. I can't believe people still think it's live. Do they think the audience comes back again on Sunday night as well?
 
The leaderboard and Davethorps poll tells us:

-Will got ALOT of votes to avoide the b2. He got third on the poll; if he's getting these amount of votes for his worst dance so far then you could say he is a shoe in for a final slot unless something shocking happens in the future weeks.
-Tony is puling in a lot of votes 6th on the poll. A possible out stay his welcome contestant which people may resent in a few weeks??
-Kym got a really low vote. She was beaten by Jayde, both Ellie's, Helen, Tony and Will who all scored lower than her.
 
I liked Kym's dance tonight, it's a shame she was in the bottom 2 with it, but she never seemed like someone who would be popular with the public. As for Matt, I started off the night thinking I'd like to see him stay and come out of his shell a bit more, but by the end I was like nah, he has to go, he's just not as good or as entertaining as the others. I hope he enjoyed his Strictly experience though :)

who tf is out there voting for James and Amy!!??? Theyre as exciting as wall paper paste!!

I was warming to Matt slightly...but he really cant dance, so not overly shocked at him going!

she gets to do the unspeakable with Kai so I think she has more than enough there personally…😂 (only a little jealous)

Remember when they used to make some of the audience swap seats to make it look different? Not sure if they still do it, I'm not paying that much attention but also on the judges side the audience aren't as close to the dance floor as they used to be.

But they have to give people that day off on a Sunday even though the pros don't get much of one as they spend the day choreographing the next dance if they're still in.
