My favourite's this week Hamza, Fleur and Molly. The reaction to Hamza's dance made me wonder if he's a potential winner, his reaction seemed so genuinely humble and Jowita is such a sweetheart.
Hamza has so many winning qualities. He is likeable, humble, talented and also has an extremely talented pro who gives him great choreography that really suits him. I can really see him winning this whole thing and I would be delighted if he did.

It's so funny how people can see things differently. I don't think Gorka's pep talk was appreciated by Helen, she looked v annoyed at him for referring to her situation and really uncomfortable with it. To me it seemed like a bit of a plea from Gorka for a sob story vote. Either way, I don't think it was appropriate really for him to say that, unless he knew she would be ok with it (and her silence on the whole matter implies not).

I think Gorkas speech tonight was a way of as some have said, mentioning the elephant in the room. It's all over the press and I imagine with various sob stories this week, illness, grief, kids, friends who saved lives etc etc he thought hang on, there's one person here who is having a tit time NOW and still turning up and not uttering a word. I don't think she was annoyed, I think she just a) didn't want to cry on TV and b) has the sense of mind to be very careful about what she says and didn't want to say anything off the cuff that sly exes could use against her.
That is what I thought tbh. Gorka probably has seen her in a right state this week and previous weeks. Or more likely trying to hide being in a right state. And I can imagine him being furious with her deadbeat husband still making her life a misery.
I actually can't warm to Helen (but that is neither here nor there), but by crikey I admire her for not being a victim. I think Gorka wanted people to appreciate that although she presents as perky and capable she is going through a terribly crappy time. Arguably not up to him to do that but I think it came from a place of deep kindness towards her and anger and frustration with her horrible ex.

I had it on mute at that point so I couldn't hear what was being said but I could tell from her body language (lots of teeth baring usually a sign of aggression) that she was distressed I had assumed it was the judges comments and scores until went back and re-watched.

I honestly think she was trying not to cry. She didn’t look distressed? I’m profoundly deaf and can ‘read’ people by their body language. I think she was initially taken aback he’d mentioned it but was touched by his words. She’s most likely trying her hardest to hold her head up high and I think she’s doing brilliantly

i think so too. she was doing a twisty mouth like she was biting the inside of her cheek - as if trying not to cry.

as said, i absolutely think gorka did it from a good place and with good intentions too, and i think she probably appreciated it, but maybe would have wanted some more warning that he was going to do it!

It's funny how we see things because I didn't see that myself
