Not everyone copes with illness in the same way - Amy, for example, has lowered immunity and one cold could mean a horrible flare up. Say someone gets this virus and passes it to an immunocompromised loved one.

Same here. I still remember from about 10 years ago, a woman (who didn't exactly wear herself out working at the best of times), coming into work with a horrible dose. All you could hear, and I didn't even sit near her, was this dreadful cough.

Just before Christmas too. I think she was persuaded to go home. The decent thing to have done was stay home in the first place and not drag herself and her germs in to everyone else!

I haven't watched last night's ITT yet but if Will is unwell, then he shouldn't have been there and should sit out this week's show. Mind you, it might keep Shirley at bay if he is coughing and spluttering.

Nah, Shirley is made of stronger stuff than that.
She will give him an extra point for being a big, brave boy and then knock a point of Kym for not brining the energy needed … or something ;) :cool:

100% - you don't just stay at home because you feel like microwaved poo, but also to protect others by ensuring your germs don't spread. The fact that we've learned nothing from a bloody pandemic is infuriating.

Speaking of keeping Shirley at bay, poor Tyler could do with a dose of the snotters to stop her rabid pervery.

These people are terrifying. Absolutely deranged.
 
DS are completely deranged, worrying if you will.
Aj could have stopped the hate that poor chap has gotten for months regarding this but to me, played the victim card to keep tabloids interested alongside her injured foot.

I love Kai and Nadiya together, I do wonder how friendly she is with the other ladies though, she doesn’t seem to have a firm bond with any of them from what we see.

Bad night all round, really.
AJ and Kai didn’t showdance down the red carpet.
AJ and Kai didn’t have a photo taken together.
Rose and Gio didn’t declare undying love.
Rose and Gio did have a photo taken but Debbeh selfishly stood between them.

sad times.

Nadiya is very close with the female pros, she’s been on holiday with them and spends time with them outwith the show. Just because she doesn’t post “omg my bff love you so much” every 4.5 seconds like janette does doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a bond with them 😂 I think she’s more interested in spending any time off she has with her daughter which I totally understand.

I think Debbie looks fantastic in the photo. And the only one with a natural, unforced smile. I will say I think Giovanni does seem to maintain friendly relations after the series with the partners who are clearly not romantic/sexual interests - viz both Debbie and Michelle - which rather inclines me to think it is the same with Rose.

Some of AJ's more obsessive fans are posting how odd it is that 'AJ and Kai went out of their way to avoid each other' last night - it doesn't seem to occur to them a) that there was never the remotest flicker of romance other than in their heads and b) they themselves may well have been sufficiently spooked by the deranged fantasies of their followers to avoid provoking more ridiculous drivel by avoiding being photographed together.

How can anyone even begin to think that they conclusively know that they made a ‘conscious effort to stay apart?
Unless someone was actually there and following them both all night, who has any clue what interactions did or did not occur between two former colleagues at a work event?
