Can I just say that I am very disappointed Kai and Nadiya have either bought or been gifted a designer bulldog puppy from one of those. Instagram puppy farm type places that give dogs to the likes of Katie Price etc? Aside from the fact they are a new couple who might not even last and also spend a lot of time touring so won’t be around to care for it. Thoss breeds have the most appalling health issues and are bred purely for aesthetic reasons and the people who breed them are unethical and down right cruel. I judge people who get dogs from those kind of places very harshly indeed. But never let that get in the way of a photo op hey?
It’s quite an ugly look dog as well, sucks that people purposely breed them to look a certain way, and influencers buying them doesn’t help because everyone wants to be like them.

Agree with you both.

Very much against these kind of dogs that have been so in-bred, also making their snouts so deformed that they all have trouble breathing. I wonder if they would like to have their nasal passages squashed to that extent and then make them dance? Getting the dog from a glorified puppy farm too.

They must both be so ill informed about the breed and the care needs that the dog will require. Shame on them by giving the poor dog an insta account too. While some of their followers will think it is cute, the dog charities will be shaking their heads wondering why these two numpties are making owning a dog similar to getting a designer handbag.

They are both going to be away from home 8-8 for the next few weeks at least. Then the Strictly tour, then presumably other tours. Who will look after the wee fella?
I had a row with one of my best friends when he said they wanted to get a Frenchie. I have had to never mention the topic again as it got quite ugly.

I saw the post just a few minutes after it was posted and I saw a couple of comments (like 2 or 3) saying that they were disappointed because of the trouble those dogs have with their breathing, so if they're gone they've been deleted.

I'm pretty sure all of Karen's dogs are rescues. Also, I've seen that when she and her husband go away in the UK they tend to choose places that are dog friendly so they can bring the dogs with them.

There’s a couple that have appeared in the last 40 mins but they’re right at the bottom and they’ll probably be gone soon. Gorkas comments are especially disappointing when gem mentions rescue charities a bit.

I’m not necessarily against people going through breeders for puppies as long as they’ve done their research and found a good one as I know shelters and rescue organisations can be fussy sometimes especially if you’ve got children. But I doubt this pair have done any breed or breeder research.
