It will be interesting to see who lands in the bottom two this week.

I thought either or both Matt and Tony would be gone by now. I want Tony to stay awhile yet, for the sheer entertainment factor. Plus he seems like such a nice guy and is enjoying himself.

Jayde isn't great imo, but she obviously is popular with the public. The judges are not really giving her much to work on, in their comments.

I think the usual suspects are most at risk - Matt, James and Ellie, and also controversially, Molly. She was very low in the polls last week and that was with a decent score. Saying that, she'd easily beat anyone else in a dance off

After thinking James would be gone by now, I'm wondering if he might coast for a bit longer on a 'nice inoffensive bloke' vote

I think it was James that played the ‘get to Blackpool’ card at the Launch Show … Flavia still twitches when she hears that.

I think a lot will depend on how many ties there are. Last week there were 5(?) ties and the leaderboard was virtually upended. Have no ties or just one, and things would have been a lot different.
 
Hope Fleur gets a boost. There may be pity votes for Will and Kym if they dance ill. Matt seems to have lots of support now (somewhat bizarrely to me), as do Ellie and James.

FWIW Tellystats has the top four on insta likes and twitter likes/sentiment as Tyler, Will, Helen, Hamza, with the bottom four in each: Matt, James, Jayde, Ellie T.
 
Going off the rehearsal clip of Matt on ITT I’d say he’s in real danger of being at the bottom of the leaderboard probably with Tony and maybe James.

As for the dance off I’d definitely put Matt there I’m not expecting his jive to be good. I actually think any number of middlers could be in danger of joining him. Fleur will probably be okay this week. She should 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Gain a bit of support after the shock of last week. I think they’ll want Tony through till the centenary episode so they can have him dance to MOTD or grandstand. Plus he’s got a decent following after last week.

Good for him tbh, if it’s true that is. I think they would look really good together but I don’t think it’s that deep based on the fact there’s only a few pictures of them together. In the tiny brains of the writers for the scum/daily fail etc though that pretty much confirms a relationship 😂

Yes, I can't see James getting very far, I do think though that being from Eastenders is helping his vote - in addition to being a nice, inoffensive bloke. 😁
He seems to take everything on board that the judges say to him.

Ellie T got great feedback the first night, from the judges but it seems to have been somewhat downhill for her since - especially from Shirley.

And then there's the less grumpy me who gives him the benefit of the doubt - he hasn't got time to be leaving SM messages and he's not the kind of guy who posts things on Insta every 5 mins - I'm sure he and Ritchie got on fine...

She’s on ballroom this week … expect a ‘breakthrough’
 
I love that the Fail says 'A source told MailOnline: 'Molly and Nikita couldn't keep their eyes off each other the entire evening', and includes two photos where they both on their phones ignoring each other! I'd be shocked if this were true - he's only just split from his long-term gf and I imagine he's a flirt with everyone. Maybe they're having a wee fling.

Which is why I am submitting a petition to the UK government to both merge movies and musicals week into one, and also cancel Hallowe'en week and replace it with EUROVISION WEEK next year. Think of all the Euro pop bangers 1956-2022 the gang could samba to!

(I think Liz Truss might go for it, it would be a more popular move than anything else the government has done this past month)
 
I'd be happy with Jayde going this week. She had her 'memorable moment' dance last week. She won't get better than that, I don't think, and this might be a nice enough one for her to go out on. I'm picking her because, for me, she's overhyped and not that great.

Equally, Tony. I like him, he's easy-going and a good sport, and because of that, I honestly don't think he'd mind one jot if he went home. He looks to be having fun but I don't get the impression he's sweating too much as the names are getting called out.

But, after seeing the training so far, I can't imagine anyone other than Matt this week.

I also have one of those. Came in last week barking and sneezing away adamant it was just a cold changing of the season thing.
Now three of us are off with Covid. Saturday’s show could be quite the trippy experience for me 😂.
