Agree - thought this was so unfair and hurtful to tony, especially when anton said to Katya ‘i feel your pain’!!! So rude! My husband even said ‘why are they all laughing at Tony’. Felt for him after he really gave it a go and is clearly enjoying it.
 
I got the feeling that for most couples Craig was choosing his actual score then reducing it by how much he thought the other judges were going to over mark . And tbf having so many 9’s and 10’s this early makes a mockery of the judges scores anyway

I wish they would overhaul the voting system and have a criteria of certain amount of marks each for technique and performance, with maybe the public vote being to save their favourite out of the bottom 2. Either that or replace Shirley and Motsi and Anton . I know it’s an entertainment show but it’s also meant to be a dance competition . And replace the house singers with different sessions singers for each style of song or have every song as an instrumental , basically anything to save our eardrums !

usually I watch strictly with a bottle glass or 2 of wine but this year I’m watching sober which I’m sure is reducing my tolerance for the erratic over/under marking and terrible music😂
 
Aside from being able to make duffers popular in the vote (as demonstrated with Tony tonight), I wonder if Katya doesn’t get contenders because they’re afraid she’d win again and it would be rather obvious.

Even if the celeb isn’t necessarily top of the public vote, if Katya pulled out one of her really dynamic routines in the final, complete with a Katya special, then that celeb is likely taking home a glitterball.
