There would be a part of me that would be a little sad at the Bruno door closing completely purely because I'm a bit nostalgic and he's one of the few figures remaining from the early days of the show but they need to look at the bigger picture and he doesn't fit it now.

More like sandblasting I reckon... 🤨

AJ would be a good shout for ITT. I wouldn't mind see her co-hosting some shows with Rylan, they seem to have a good rapport. Not sure her more rabid fans would approve though - they seem to believe she'll be co-hosting the Oscars this time next year. 🤪

This. It's just a bit nuts considering everything that is going on. I think Bruno still wants to have his cake and eat it - doing the tour feels like him trying to remind everyone that he's an important part of Strictly. And then were those odd stories from a 'source' about how the BBC are desperate to have him back because he was so missed. I suspect that story probably came from Bruno's agent

She’s now doing the co hosting of the youtube feed for the Brits next week too. She’s certainly keeping busy! No I don’t think she’ll ever be that kind of level, but I do love her with Rylan and ITT would be perfect, especially as she knows everyone so well now. I found Janette really awful to be honest. The way she handled the last Wednesday ITT interview with AJ was excruciating. It is lack of experience but the ability to just read the room wasn’t there.

I don’t want Bruno back to be honest. I thought Anton did a good job

Honestly the judging panel needs a shake up. Keep Anton he’s great but wouldn’t be sad to see Shirley go she’s unprofessional and favourites certain pros/celebs more than she should. I’d get rid of Motsi as well because she’s just a tit judge. Her feedback is non existent and she constantly overmarks. Dare I say I wouldn’t mind Craig going too. He’s become a parody of himself and just seems to be mean for the sake of it rather than saying something actually constructive.

With the exception of Anton, I found the judging to be really shoddy this year. Craig half the time doesn’t seem to know what mistakes he’s seen and what he hasn’t, Shirley’s obsession with certain 6’6 blonde male celebs got tiresome very quickly, and I’m fairly certain Cynthia gave out more technical advice than Motsi did the entire series. It’s a shame Oti wasn’t put on the panel as I think she would be the dream, but imagine that’d make family dinners a bit awkward… maybe Janette as the new Motsi or Shirley, with a better ITT host?

Oti hasn't annoyed me as a judge at DOI (was worried that she'd take after Motsi's style) so maybe she could join the SCD panel, especially as a much loved pro? Would Motsi mind? She still has Let's Dance Germany and at least her judging spot would be kept in the family.

I hope Craig at least does this series as it's the milestone 20th one but I get the feeling he might be off eventually.

I’m not taking to Motsi either, I’ve really tried. Shirley does a good job I think. I’d probably just change Motsi out of the current lineup .
 
I think i’m in the minority here but I would happily take Bruno back. It might be for nostalgia reasons and because he was like part of the furniture, but i’ve missed him the last 2 years. I do think this panel works well together though so not sure where he would fit?
 
I loved Anton as a judge but wish he’d be more Len. His critique was good and he’s had a year of not wanting to offend his colleagues so if he’s back next year, hopefully he’ll be a bit tougher.

Craig was always my favourite but he seemed toned down this year. I’m sure I read he was worried about being cancelled and it showed. The comments about “it’s been lovely working with you all these years” I took as hints that he wasn’t coming back but in a “somebody stop me” kind of way. He, Shirley and Motsi couldn’t hide their disgust at Anton being a Judge and it wasn’t good.

Shirley’s too biased and has her blatant favourites.

Motsi, I’m not a fan tbh. She’s over the top with no real critique and hands 10s out like Christmas cards….but one of my highlights of the series was her playing the saxophone like a guitar and for that I’ll always be grateful 😂

Pretty much agree with all of this! My issue with the judging in general is now, is that they are just openly saying stuff like 'well that had no technique but I don't care because I loved it anyway - 9!'. They might as well not bother employing experts as judges then. I know it's all done for entertainment etc, but just a tiny bit of objectivity from Shirley would be nice, and maybe not giving every male celeb a 9 just for turning up
 
The audience doesn’t help. They boo anything below a 7 and in the first weeks people should be getting 3s, 4s and 5s because then they can improve. Unfortunately they have ringers who start at a 7 which shows up the others and so the judges overmark. I have never seen anyone except Craig give under a 6 - which is ridiculous.
 
Motsi once scored a 1 in Germany (OK, the celeb sat down and ate a hot dog for half the routine but still...) don't know why she is such an overmarker here.

Can't see Anton going under a 4 either, maybe a 3 for something really bad. I think Shirley has given out a 2 once and a few 3s.

Judges are getting way too close to DWTS with their marking for sure. scared to dish out anything below a 7 so the celeb doesn’t storm off - but then on the other hand will find no faults in a dance but award it an 8 or a 9? AJ had that happen at lot this year, as did Rhys I think

His clothing has been truly awful during the tour. But the others are just as bad. He’s much better in trackies ( and stubble and beanie- Builder Kai) and also his suits from ITT. I miss that version of him!
