I listened to the Private Parts podcast ep he did and major credit to him, he’s worked insanely hard to get to where he is. Pretty sure he left home at 14 to pursue his career. The man’s got an insane work ethic - probably explains why his relationships don’t extend past a few months

Have a lot of sympathy for the OP on the Giovanni flirting thread, think they’ve made some very good points on his/the pros showmances with their partners. I mentioned it on the thread, but for me the moment when it became very clear the whole relationship between the two of them was being exaggerated to drum up support was during his interviews in the final and ITT - “you’re the best thing to happen in my entire life”, “you’re my dream”, etc. if fans aren’t able to see that is a WILD exaggeration from Gio I really don’t know how to help them 🤷🏼‍♀️

You’ve seen the state of Kai after 2 weeks of tour, and he’s one of the youngest! ( ok, he’s not actually sleeping much between shows ;)) , he’s Got Pro Tour then Burn the Floor, then Strictly straight after that. karen has Firedance, and Burn the floor, Nadiya has Pro Tour and Here come the boys. It’s full on! I think the only break any of them have is just after Pro tour - maybe 2 weeks, before the next batch of rehearsals. I do feel for them. It’s not really that well paid, for the hours they put in.

could it be a gio hat trick? if he can convince the audience there’s a spark between him and Debbie (and even Laura who I’m certain couldn’t stand him), I reckon he’ll have no problem forging a relationship with a middle aged politician duffer 😜

I can’t see him getting a duffer despite being due one. Can imagine him being the kid who spits his dummy out if he don’t get his own way 🙈

You’re probably right.. i remember dan being asked about why certain couples get great songs and others not so much and he said that the pro can push production for certain music, and that “Gio is very good at getting what he wants”.. You can just tell he’s bad news can’t you? I can’t help but love him though.. dreadful taste in men 🤣🤣🤣

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he doesn't get a proper duffer next year. Even when he has had older contestants, they turn out to be a former ballerina or a bit of a ringer. He'll wriggle out of it again 😆

There are 2 and a half months between live tour ending and pro tour starting so those doing nothing else in between should get some decent time off.

It’s non stop at the moment. I’m still trying to work out why they are basically stalking their every move? I mean, what is their obsession with two single dancers? Are they trying to get some dirt on Dan?
 
Who can Gio get that is pretty much guaranteed to be rubbish (and might be likely to sign up)? He surely can't get a contender of any sort. Oti is the only one who dodged a duffer after her 1st win but even Bill can be argued to have been a dud on paper (albeit always a popular one regardless) and that series was an anomaly.

Dan is at the tour tonight with his family….wonder if he regrets not doing the tour

That particular poster is a total nutter, she’s on my block list. Ignore her. She HATES Kai! Unfortunately some of his family have seen her tweets which is upsetting. I’m glad he doesn’t have a twitter account anymore.
