I chucked watching ITT last year cos I'm not keen on Rylan. Strangley, I would have loved him as a contestant but as a presenter, I can't take to him.

But it also meant that I wasn't as invested in the main series as I usually was.

The only time I kind of perked up was when Anton was a judge. Much, much, much better than Motsi!!!

But really this year, unless they sort out the panel and get a cracking cast, I suspect for me, I'll be increasing my fast forwarding - bit like I did with X Factor before I eventually chucked it.

P.S. I've got tickets to see Ian and Vincent so I'm really hoping that it didn't get cancelled. Again!!!
 
I would love an old pro to host ITT, it would be nice to have someone with real Ballroom/Latin knowledge but also someone with some personality. I really don’t see the point in having ITT, you don’t learn that much from it that you wouldn’t get from the show in terms of training etc. Just my opinion though, I find it boring. Zoe was pretty good at that job though so if they replace her with someone not great, then the show will be awful.

The whole show needs a refresh! I would like some of the old strictly spark back. No more of the special effects etc, just some good old proper Latin and Ballroom dance.

The celebs get worse every year aswell and there is always ‘celebs’ that no one knows.
 
In terms of people talking about celebs getting worse each year, can't be any worse than the Norwegian show - looked through their cast in 2019, it included 2 politicians, a politician's girlfriend, 2 bloggers, a YouTuber, an influencer, a reality star (from a show called "Ex on the Beach"). Even some of the athletes weren't that well known!

I'd like to hope that SCD will never descend to that level of casting.

I honestly think ITT would be a great gig for someone like Janette, I reckon she'd be a good presenter. Obviously not the most experienced in ballroom but would still have more knowledge than Zoe or Rylan.

They’ve definitely gone into overkill with the tours they now produce. Introducing a third was a bad idea imo and will harm the brand in the long term.

The tour market is way too saturated. Wasn’t basically every pro meant to do their own tour in 2020 pre Corona? I get the big names doing something solo or a few pros teaming up but the pros who have only done a few years and weren’t that well known were on a hiding to nothing with their tours. I wonder if someone forced them into doing it.
 
Kevin Clifton is announcing something tomorrow......
