Did anyone else notice Shirley’s smug smile as it went to her with the deciding vote? “This is the toughest part” she said as she cackled, knowing full well she was going to keep the unthreatening, woman in her 40s contestant over the young soap star…

Katie’s coat was on a shoogily peg anyway but it was the wrong couple to go

Just seen on Gemma Atkinsons stories that Katie was only able to train for 3 hours a day, compared to Gemma’s 8 hours. If everyone else is training 8 hours a day, Katie was at a real disadvantage. No wonder Gorka was stressed!
But would you not have asked how much time you need to commit to training to be on Strictly on average? Her dancing was good. So it was basically her personality that got her voted off.

Katie's not holding back in her Post Show interview

I noticed her smirk.

She loves the power of it.

Yeah I think that some of them who don't really have much of a job (eg. Tilly) can train for hours and hours yet some of them are so busy they can hardly fit in any training yet you wonder why they even choose to take part?

I also think Gorka wanted a partner who lived near him so he wasn't away from home as much and Katie was the only choice!

I do think by now people should know how much of a commitment strictly is. Even if you’re a ringer you’re not going to get far on 3hrs a day. You’ve got Dan who’s up at 3am to be ready for breakfast tv and he’s then going back to Sheffield and rehearsing till the early evening clearly doing more hours than she is and probably heading towards burnout. So her 3 is really quite poor for tbh so I’m not entirely surprised the public didn’t want her there. They can see she’s not really up for it and it’s quite insulting to the pro.

I saw on Insta the other day that Adam had been doing a sponsor event or something most of the day so started training at 5:30pm and they still did 5-6 hours training!

I agree, Gorka must be pissed
