Oh I really hope it's not his last series. I know he's really into his fitness and I could see him moving into that instead - but Strictly and the tours pay pretty well. I do think he was fed up with Katie and what seems to be the lack of training and commitment on her part, but he also had a rubbish time being in the bottom with Maisie quite a lot last year and it'd be hard not to take that to heart - it must be pretty disheartening to go through that again.
 
Aww Gorka looked like he was close to tears ☹️. I think Katie just had too many things conspiring against her - nice but bland, not enough time to train, not enough chemistry with Gorka, in amongst a load of contestants that had attention grabbing 'hooks' (first male pairing, famous wife/dad etc, first deaf contestant). Just wasn't really going to happen

So, Gorka for the Christmas special then? 😆

Maybe he’s sad that he feels he can’t be as popular anymore with the public if they’re not voting for him and his partner (I do think a lot of people vote for the professional more than the celeb)?

I can't see him doing it for that much longer as I think his priorities have changed a bit now - just going off his insta, he just seems to get a lot more from the fitness stuff that Strictly these days. And he clearly doesn't like being away from Gemma and Mia. I know in theory you think you can work around kids etc and cope, but the reality can be very different. Also, he just seems like one of those dads who just genuinely enjoys being at home and doing parent stuff

Saying that, he has tours lined up for next year, so I hope that means he'll do at least one more series. Hopefully with a popular celeb this time 😆
 
I hope we get at least 3 more series of Gorka - one with a likeable middler, one with an older partner and one with the winner. Would be a shame if he packed it in because he is one of the pros who I enjoy watching.

Feels like it's all of the good pros that are candidates for moving on - Oti is likely, saw someone on Digital Spy suggesting it might be the end for Katya, then if Gio & Rose win, he could also move on. Wish a few of the others would leave instead.

I think it’s cos shes bland, and it really irritates me how in every single interview she does she looks at Nikita every few words rather than just talking to and looking at the interviewer. It’s probably a confidence/insecurity issue but it just gets my goat and I realise this makes me a witch 😂

Maybe Gorka can do the Christmas special. I wonder which celeb he could dance with, likely not any of his past partners, of the two that actually went far, it would be too soon for Maisie and I doubt we'll be seeing Alexandra.

There were rumours of a same-sex pairing, maybe he could do that. Which celebs (male and female) do we think could do the Christmas show? I know Rob Rinder was rumoured. Danny Mac or Jay would be great.
