I don't see why Oti doing DOI means she's leaving. It's not like they clash. I know she hasn't got much left to prove on strictly but I think she would have been a bit more open about it being her last year if it was and I just don't get the feeling that this was her last. If she was gonna leave why not leave on a high after her second win?

Jowita 100% (assuming not all the men are giants again) Cameron I can see having another year on the bench but maybe partnered for CIN/Xmas special. I still think he’s a tad young unless they have someone else really young like Maisie smith. I can’t see him partnering someone middle aged tbh.

I’m not sure about Cameron with a pro tbh. He’s got the Latin and Ballroom credentials but in a weird way, he seems a lot younger than Nikita and not just a few years.

And if Aljaz was to move on, they’d maybe have to recruit a taller male pro as that would just leave Graziano and Johannes who are a good bit taller than the other male pros

Yeah I see what you mean. I also think Luba will get a chance.

I honestly can’t seen Tess walking away from the job, she’d be crazy to. But it keeps me up at night wondering why she’s still there. I love Claudia and again I’m not sure she’d leave voluntarily. I think it would be a real shame if Anton left the show because they took Bruno back

Gio is also appearing in an upcoming film as a dance instructor! a niche for Strictly pros with designs on acting, as from the VT performances I can't see any of them giving Robert De Niro a run for his money..

DS appears to have got worse in certain ways now that there isn't much to talk about. The thread congratulating Gio turned into irate Gio fans upset that some people think he deserves a duffer next year, complete with forensic analysis of the meaning of 'duffer' and one poster declaring 'duffer' a slur :cautious:

To be fair, he really does! And Kai needs a ringer.

I think if Aljaz were to move on Jowitas partner Michael potentially could get called up as a proper pro. Production/creative team obviously like him as he’s been in group dances this year. This was Kais way into the show so would make sense. (Assuming he wanted to be a full time pro. He seems really busy with their dance school and competition season during the series)

I hope so and I hope her seemingly crap time so far hasn’t made her rethink if she signs back up again(assuming she’s offered another contract. I guess there’s no guarantee)
 
As good a pro as he is, Gio definitely deserves a duffer. And I mean a proper, Jacqui Smith or Anneka Rice-type duffer, not someone like Ranvir who turned out to have an aptitude for ballroom (I know Gio helped in that respect, but she clearly had a natural talent for it too)

With Cameron, I think he's hampered a bit by his age and height. To me he looks 1 or 2 inches shorter than Gorka, so probably wouldn't get anyone taller than 5"4. Also, he just looks like he needs another year to settle in a bit - there was something about how he danced with Jowita that didn't quite click. Maybe needs a Christmas partner first?

I really hope Jowita gets a partner though - she just has that spark about her in the group dances

Edit: I think they plan on booking more younger celebs in the future, which is why they've taken on 3 new male pros in their 20s of all different heights, just to cover all bases. So they may have someone in mind for Cameron already? But I'm not sure he's there yet, personally

I’ve already told my ( very beautiful and talented) daughter that I have plans to make her a star and get her on Strictly, so she can dance with Gorka or Nikita! I was only half joking ;)

I concur! But I don’t think they have a pattern as to who their favourites are! I always thought the Smarmbucket Clifton nepotism was down to his parents being friends with Len/ connected but I can’t work out why Gio is the fave - maybe because he gets social media talking etc.

Dianne is another one who seems to have had more than her fair share of potentials whereas Karen seems to get stuck with the “good luck with that one…” contestants.

Pasha got decent partners until he won and then it went rapidly downhill until he was partnered with Ashley.

Kai had one of the worst duffers on DWTS, Demi! Her week 1 dance got 10/30 and she was consistently at the bottom of the board for 6 out of her 7 dances. I can only imagine it was viewers voting for Kai because she wasn't charismatic at all and came across as hard work.

It will be interesting if Aljaz stays they now have 4 tall males Aljaz, Graz, Kai and Jojo if there aren't enough tall women next year one of them will likely end up benched.
 
I would genuinely love to see Gio with someone like Esme Young from Sewing Bee - I think they'd be a hoot together. But no doubt she would be given to Neil if she ever did Strictly

It seems mad that Kevin had 4 great celebs in a row before getting a duffer, and 3 of them ringers! And remember being very surprised when Gio got Faye Tozer - he was definitely due a duffer that year

He maybe threatened to bail out after being lumbered with The Whitmore and they were desperate to keep him!
